I just remembered that there is a poem called Litany Against Fear, from by Frank Herbert's book, Dune. I like to repeat it to myself in times of distress:

I haven't read the books, but recently watched the movie for the first time, underrated I think!

@Celty, I love that you brought this up! It's such a beautiful perspective, to perceive fractures, our scars and bruises, as a form of art, a proof of being tested by time and space.

It reminds me a poem by Ellen Bass:

I totally share your view ! As a teen I used to say that roads are to the earth what scars are to human beings : they guide us.
