I am starting the new year early.

To end this holiday week, I have to have all my core balance chores done before the 1st.

I have to help out two friends.

I have to write up some business paperwork for possible jobs.

WOW... If i can stay disciplined, I can have a kick*** year, one week at a time. I remember not too long ago, that I was only able to look at one hour at a time. Never give up.

A little late to the Holiday Party.....Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, or whatever else you may celebrate this time of year......I hope everyone is having a great holiday season....by the postings here it looks like you all are.....

I have been a little absent from 7 cups due to things....I am getting along status quo....I still read posts and scroll my phone at least every other day.....getting in to write post is difficult...I haven't had time to sit at the laptop to type(I refuse to try to type anything in a forum on my phone...my fat fingers, the small letters, and spell check don't get along, its aggravating and it causes me more stress than its worth)

Moving into the new year, I have some changes I want to make in life...I don't do "resolutions" so to speak...I want change....some will be small, that I will definitely get done and work on.....some large will be that I'm sure I will eventually get done by working on small changes first......some very large and life changing, a few very hard decisions to make after some research and soul searching....its just a matter of if I have the nerve to take the leap or just let everything continue status quo and float along in my comfort zone....

Anyway....I hope everyone continues to have a great holiday season....

These weren't goals but I got them done. Called my parents yesterday. My dad can drive again. Had to wait a bit after the surgery. He said he had tried but it was too painful. They thanked me for the gift and asked what I got. I didn't get anything. The cat doesn't bring me birds anymore and the dog can't go out by herself.

I did check the mail and got some books that I ordered months ago (December was the release date) and I found an unexpected check from a government agency. I thought it was a response on my incomplete claim (which I never finished because the company finally reached out to me) but it was a check. Apparently a different company I dealt with a few years back got fined or something and I got a check. Only a hundred something but I'm not complaining.

The dog actually ate one of the holiday cookies I bought for her. Was trying to get the leash on her so we could go out and she had half of it in her mouth. I thought she didn't like them because she wasn't interested in them when I tried giving her one a few days ago. 

Made a payment on the medical bill. Got it to less than a thousand. Even though I somehow missed a payment and now have to do the payments manually, I should be paid off around the same time as I would have been paid off if I hadn't been kicked off the payment plan.

I agree with you about the phone thing. There is no way in this world that I can stop doing what I'm doing and take the time to chicken peck on my phone for conversation. My hands are just big and clumsy. I'd make a wager that you probably do more on your phone throughout the day than I do on mine. From a business perspective I really need to learn to use my phone for more than a phone call or the occasional text..... Well I don't see anything changing in that department soon.

I'm limited to 7-cups, during my coffee time in the morning.. btw, how's the coffee reduction going? You inspired me to give it a try too, but sadly, I'm back to my old habits. Waaaay waay way too much. 😞.

As I understand it, you develop a major change in your life, and not for the better. If that is the case I'm really sorry to hear that.😔. I hope I am wrong and I hope your status quo is as good as your status quo used to be.

I don't do resolutions either, I like to look at the fresh start of a new year as perseverance of the previous year but with the sense of a new beginnings and new hope in continuing quests or possibly, new directions. 

I hope you can continue to focus on the small but very important convictions that you are making, allowing the bigger things to become more managable. Do you think you're gonna get back into your cycling and exercising routines? Those were or are such a strong foundation for you. I couldn't imagine you omitting those from your world.

I hope you have a really good week this week. 

Oh and I plan on submitting my third assignment this afternoon. Had to redo it. I went on the site I've used for examples and the uploaded presentations had five to nine slides--even though the professor said 1 to 2. But it's supposed to be a pitch to prospective stakeholders that was supposed to be around 15 minutes so more work was definitely needed on mine.

If a professor wants something a specific way, they shouldn't put conflicting statements in the instructions or overview.
