I welcome anyone to commit to a goal here today.
But importantly, talk about getting it done..... or why it didn't happen yet.
To praise each other for our efforts and wins.
While supporting each other through trials and setbacks.
And to continue trying and not give up.
Remember:
Every Goal should be considered "Worthy".
Never belittle your achievements and be proud of yourself for your daily accomplishments!
Whether they be Complex or Simple.
Getting out of bed is a good day..... Good job I say!

@determinedSea4370 Hi Determined…. Welcome, a little belated for sure and I’m sorry about that but I’m really glad to see that the two goofiest giffer’s have been keeping you busy.
I started this thread a couple of years ago and it is absolutely about listing your goals and helping you make it through the day. It helps to have a place to commit for accountability or just list things. It helps to vent when you’re frustrated and get woo-who’s when you win.
I’ve been missing in action for the past couple of weeks which is unusual but it’s wonderful to see some friends trying to cheer me up with all their goofy gifs. And keeping the thread going in my absence.... thank you, you 2 hero's! 💓😊
This thread is absolutely about trying to reach goals but reaching goals is part of living every day and so it’s also about sharing your story and making things happen. It has helped me out a lot in the past couple years, helping me stay focused, not give up, but most of all for being able to be heard when no one hears me.
You mentioned self-harm and your goal not to do it. Do you want to share how you been doing for the past couple of days? It’s OK if now is not the right time.
You’ve already met 2 wonderful friends and amazing people, @mytwistedsoul @Tinywhisper11. There are several more that come and go and we all try to help each other on this thread. We talk to each other and we support each other and I am so happy that you found this thread and you shared your goal. As @mytwistedsoul stated earlier, there are a lot of resources here at 7 cups. Some may suit you and some may not but always remember “Take the best, Leave the rest”.
You might even have other goals that you’d like to talk about.
You sound like a bit of a wanderer and I’m really glad you wandered here (big smile on my face) Stay in touch!
@IsayUncle Thank you! I do appreciate all this welcoming energy I am getting. I had a rough couple days this week, but I cried a lot instead of doing anything self-destructive and now I'm feeling like I've accepted things a little and moved on a little. I just needed to accept that the past is the past and that people change and now I'm doing a little better.

Do you have some coping methods or distractions to help with sh urges?
@mytwistedsoul Hi there! Usually, it's just a good idea for me to spend as much time away from my house as possible- I'll make sure to hang out in cafes, libraries, the woods, parks, and neighborhood walking paths. My family is doing nothing for the holidays, so thankfully they don't need me to stay in the house for any reason. Also, at least tonight I am finding obsessively responding to everything on this website is helping me feel like I have a purpose for once lol so that's good too.
@determinedSea4370 You've got some really cool spots to hang out! Libraries are awesome! There's so much to look through :) I love being out in nature. Just taking in the sights and sounds can be so amazing and calming. Do you see wildlife where you go?
@mytwistedsoul There's not much wildlife other than the occasional squirrel or bird, but that's ok, because I just like the trees and water anyways. Thank you for filling me in on more of the stuff that is on this website- I haven't had much of a chance to explore yet.
