Favorite LGBTQIA+ book? Heartstopper. I know its basic but its such a good book!
@Gayfroglife
yupp i love it so much too! cant wait for the next season tho we know what happens due to the books haha
True, but often enough the shows are a little bit diffrent
A really great book is A Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue. It's a historical fiction novel
books-
The pants project (a closeted trans guy fighting the dress code os "girls" can wear pants instead of skirts)
Melissa (the title was changed to melissa later, so it may still have the cover say "George" instead. It's about a trans girl figuring out who she is or something? It was a while ago I read it)
Where we go from here (From the perspective of three diffrent guys- one has HIV recently, one has had it for a long time, and one is figuring out how to date guy #1. very good stuff)
Answers in the pages (A bunch of kids and their moms argue over a book because the characters may or may not be gay)
Before I let go (really heart-wrenching story about a girl in alaska mourning her friend's death, reading her journal, ect. The town betrayed her. I loved this one. I'm pretty sure she's ace but doesn't outright say it?)
The temperature of me and you (Two dudes absorb hydrogen and get set on fire but they're okay- or are they? also they fall in love ect very good)
Rick (i don't remember what it's about, but it's good)
Scars (Trigger warning- SH + SA
So in scars there's this girl who is trying to get over trauma from SH and SA and makes a friend I read this many times it's really good and sad too but good)
You're welcome, universe (a deaf girl is also a graf artist and does some stuff)
Be dazzled (Bisexual cosplayer secretly cosplays against his mother's wishes)
Radio silence (i honestly don't remember what this book is about but I am pretty sure Aled from heartstopper is in it, like he's an MC. It was really good, I just don't remember what happened it's been a year or two)
Not the best descriptions but they're really good I swear. Lol
I really like the movie ‘ Love, Simon’ (2018). It’s about how normal lgbtq people are and the difficulties of coming out. A cute, uplifting film.
@jowita
Heartstopper!!
The musical could go either way, straight or LGBTQ. You can see previews on youtube. It's my all-time favorite called: Dear Evan Hansen
TRIGGER: Social Anxiety and Suicide
Movie/book-💙Call me by your name 💙
Two young men fall in love - Beautiful filmed and shows a setting where it is acceptable to be queer in the community and also within the family. Not a "happy" ending but shows a good look at a first love. And from my experience, shows queer love in a realistic way (can explain more if wanted) The movie follows the book really well and one of the main characters reads the audio book. The book has a lot of internal pining that you don't see in the movie. I love both the characters ❤️🧡💛💚💙🤎
Movie: margarita w a straw - queer representation of people w disabilities 🥹

Omg I can't believe I forgot my fav movie of all time: Esteros!!
Childhood friends are each other's first loves and then time and space separates them and then suddenly as adults they see each other again and truly get to explore those early feels. So adorable and this one has a happy ending!
@Jowita
OMG mine will always be Heartstopper. Just having a happy little queer show based off of the amazing book series by Alice Oseman is everything to me, since a lot of media has depicted queer people in a negative light.
