In the Corner
Sometimes, the thoughts in my head repeat over and over and over again until I need to tell them to someone, even if noone's listening. So, this is my little corner to do that. Thoughts and thoughts and thoughts. Trigger warnings, just incase. And, @LoveMyMoonflowers, @justmeeva @DarkerPlaces and @iloveyouxx are welcome to replies. Not really comfortable with anyone else. My poems are getting weirder and longer so i wldnt read it- i just needed to write this I guess
You say it's okay to hurt
But pain isn't even what I feel
You tell me it's okay to burst
But hey, let's be real
I'm not feeling
I'm not numb
I'm moving with a purpose
To not succumb
I am fighting an invisible enemy
And no, I'm not scared
I just wanna see
If I'm going to lose, anyway
Day in and day out, I prepare
For what, I do not know
And someday, when it is here
Maybe, then, I can go
See, I'm not scared, or hurting, or wanting to fall,
That comes after the fight
Right now, I'm stuck in the before, before I lose it all
Right now, I'm peering into the darkness, but standing in the light
And I don't know how I know
And I don't know why
But I know, something's about to show
And I won't be ready, but I'll try
I can feel that the cliff will break
There's only so much it can take
And I know there's no going back,
So till then, I wait and pack
And maybe I'll lose it all
In one final, deadly fall
But until then, though I'm not okay
I've got no pain, to relate
I've got no trauma, of which I know,
I'm still struggling, though
But I'll wait
And anticipate
And when you ask me how I know that it'l get worse
I'll say that I'm here in this universe
To fight
To prepare
To fall
To care
So I'll pack my rusty bag of tools
And let myself be hurt by fools
Cause something big is coming, now
And whatever, whoever it is, I won't cow

No pressure, but id really like it if you shared ur poem <3 i get the whole, feeling like urs is worse thing, bcz my sisters poems get way more recognition and are definitely a m a z i n g , but i think, and am trying to believe, that writing shldnt be compared, because everyone has a different writing style, and some may like the way my sis writes, others myt like the way I write, and others myt like the way you write. I read smwhere that thatd the freedom of poetry- you can write what you want to, and if smone doesnt like it, they move on, because poetry has little to no rules, so noone can tell you did it "wrong" or "bad" etc
But anyways, im rambling now oops

I finished the book, "Back and Forth" that I was writing for my friend today. Im going to send it to her once i get mom's phone :0 kinda nervous. Its a bit dramatic.

Its also very short- less than 30 pgs- but i hv exams and moving stuff, so i cldnt make a long one :0 mayb sm other time
