Hobbies For Introverts
Hello Introverts🙋♂️,
How are you doing? I have been listening to people here for some years. I have talked to a lot of Introverts and almost all of them have a hobby they love to do all by themselves. If I remember correctly, most of them are bookworms. Others liked writing, gardening, painting or spending time with their pets. But recently I have noticed that most of us are spending more time online rather than doing offline stuff as hobby. What can be the reasons behind that? 🤔🤔
I, myself, love to read fictions or come to this site to talk to people!! ☺️☺️
What about you guys? What do you like to do for yourselves?

I think this is something that needs careful balancing. Being online and spending time doing physical activities or other offline/off screen things is very important. But there is an addiction that can come with screen time, it's like a compulsion that creeps up on people. So really it is not just introverts, but anyone, and everyone?

You got me, I love writing. It helps me clear my mind, but I also love baking, skating, biking, and swimming.
Which are technically all things I can do by myself.

I write a variety of different genres. Sci-fi, because I think it's cool. Thriller because of the suspense. Drama because it's dramatic. Slice of life, because it's usually cute and wholesome. There are only two genres I don't like writing, horror and romance. I am easily terrified, so I cannot handle horror and I just don't really like writing romantic stories.

I think the reason might be that the similar tools are available online too and we can carry them everywhere. For instance, I don't bring books to get togethers or parties, but if my introvert self feels like going in a shell then I can simply open a book on my phone and no one will notice right away! :p
Same rule applies to painting and everything else.
And my hobbies include singing, making cards for people, reading books and working on my personal growth.

I read a lot and play with my pets.
I like to do research on my computer and books about different topics I'm interested in like Palmistry, and I keep a notebook for it too to write stuff down. And I also enjoy learning to code as well.
