Bio

I'm a librarian, so, of course, what I do for fun and my state of mind is to read. I usually read historical works or some science and philosophy but I've recently included historical fiction and light mystery.  

I like to spend time with my dog and cat. I really love them.

My wife and I also like to watch movies.

I struggle with anxiety, deep depression and ptsd with assorted physical ailments.  I hope that being a member will help me to cope.  I would also like to talk with others about this.

...See more Does anyone else get anxious when making a phone call? I begin to panic. I know I need to make the call but when I try to actually do it my stomach churns and I start to panic. I usually put it off saying to myself I can make the call tomorrow, thereby attain instant relief. But the call still hovers over me. Often I think that I would be bothering or annoying people. My therapist says it's related to my ptsd and she has given me techniques to try, but so far they haven't helped much.
