WEIGHT LOSS GOAL 2023

HealthyForLife June 20th, 2023

I lost 7 lbs. this year. Then, I stopped trying. I am serious about losing weight again. I want to lose 40 lbs. by Christmas 2023 (about 6 months away).

I am currently 178 lbs., and want to get to 135 lbs.

I started off my weight loss journey at 185 lbs.

I am 5'2" in height.

I will eat a very simple diet, in order to achieve this, consisting of only healthy foods.

Once I lose the 40 lbs., I will engage in moderate intensity cardio exercise.

Feel free to post your own journey here!!!

Wish you the best of luck! It'll be hard (and that's coming from a formerly overweight person), but it gets easier the further you get.

Good luck on your journey. Everyone has their own problems when it comes to weight loss, exercise, diet and staying well and/or healthy in general. A good support system from those around you(friends/family/coworkers) is a great start. Ask them to help keep you accountable. That works for my girlfriend and I. While I exercise daily, my diet is terrible. I used to log my food in one of those popular food tracking apps, but I found that tedious trying to do that each meal each day and got frustrated with it. I also found that I was always hungry trying to eat the caloric intake that the app suggested based on my goals. I'm still trying to find a good balance with my diet, what I eat, and how much. If you need support on your journey, feel free to reach out for encouragement.

I lost my first three lbs.! I am now at 175 lbs.

My mini goal is to lose 13 lbs. in July and August 2023.

I will eat healthy foods 99% of the time.
