WEIGHT LOSS GOAL 2023

HealthyForLife June 20th, 2023

I lost 7 lbs. this year. Then, I stopped trying. I am serious about losing weight again. I want to lose 40 lbs. by Christmas 2023 (about 6 months away).

I am currently 178 lbs., and want to get to 135 lbs.

I started off my weight loss journey at 185 lbs.

I am 5'2" in height.

I will eat a very simple diet, in order to achieve this, consisting of only healthy foods.

Once I lose the 40 lbs., I will engage in moderate intensity cardio exercise.

Feel free to post your own journey here!!!

5'11", hoping for a more toned, responsive body.

Healthy diet is great. I now research and then after my mind weighs in, I ask my body what the opinion of my body is saying. Fruits, some beef, wheat, and raw milk.

I am now down to 172 lbs.

Dieting and portion control of meals is working.

I was 205 lbs and am now down to 192 lbs; hoping to get into the 180-185 lbs range in the next couple of months.

Aiming to continue eating well and upping my yoga and TRX every week to keep moving in the direction I'd like to go.

Great job! Gradual and sustainable progress is key. Since you have about 6 months to achieve your goal, losing around 1-2 pounds per week can be a healthy and realistic target. In addition to a simple and healthy diet, consider incorporating regular physical activity into your routine. For example, brisk walking or cycling, can be beneficial for overall fitness and weight loss. It's important to listen to your body and find activities you enjoy. Focus on a balanced diet that includes a variety of nutrient-rich foods. It's great to consider taking vitamins (find them at Canadian Pharmacy) as supplements to support your overall well-being. Wishing you all the best on your weight loss journey!

I am going to start using an old exercise dvd from my old condo which still is great. I will use it at least 6 times a week.

Something that helped me a lot was High intensity training.

Here is what I have done so far in my weight loss this year.

I started with a goal to lose 25kg by December, so far I have dropped 18kg so the hardest part is still to go, but the end is in sight.

I tried a few different things like meal logs and calorie counting, but found it didn't really work for me. I was getting stressed with all the paperwork.

Instead I looked at my diet and improved it overall; looking especially at my snacking habits. Then I cut out late night snacks and started eating more healthy.

Next I stopped eating breakfast, this cut 500ish calories from my daily intake without needing to stress about logging foods.

i have also started exercising more, currently I try to start the day with 100 push-ups and at some point in the day I try and walk as much as I have time for.

I am at 173.6 lbs. now. I am hoping to get into the 160's by August 31st, 2023. My Doctor gave me a weight loss drug, and it is helping.
