I heard from many that they see the 7Cups logo as a broken cup. If you think the same, you are not alone. When I joined, I also thought the same. But looking it often, I came up with the interesting findings and its meaning.

Before I share how I see it now. I am curious to find how you view it and what does it mean from your perspective?

We look forward to reading your analysis. Purple heart

@ASilentObserver I see a chat message / cloud in the logo, basically standing for the talks you can have here. This chat ๐Ÿ’ญ is placed inside the cup, since you can have conversations here as if you are drinking coffee (or tea) with your best friend and talk about life. That's how I see it atleast :)

@AlittleSun

I've never noticed it until you pointed it out. Very insightful! yes

@AlittleSun I also saw it as message cloud with all the expressions you said.....Add to that its blue color which refers peace, relaxation, spirituality and the infinity like heaven or the skyโ˜๏ธ

And a look at the name"7 cups of tea" in my modest information "tea" has many benefits -if it's used correctly- like saving heart, lungs, pancreas, and help to prevent cancer and diabetes ....have good mount of caffeine ....help in metabolism, and the most related one it decrease stress hormone and control it

And in the end "who of us doesn't like tea ,it's our companion with some milk in our retreatโ˜•๐Ÿ–ค"

I see it as a broken cup, but I only think about it as a cup, really. I never put any focus on the crack at all.

I too see it as slightly broken. But still good, and still useful. I like the cup even for it's imperfections. I think it's a good logo because maybe it represents each one of us here? Maybe slightly imperfect, but still terrific and still so very useful to everyone, even if we have little broken parts. smileyheart For me it represents a cup for others to come drink from when their "well" has run dry. The broken part is only at the top so it still holds what others may need. heart

I'd love to hear the true meaning behind the logo one day though. I have read the poem, but wasn't exactly sure about the logo.

@ASilentObserver

I thought it was a broken cup for months and then one day, I noticed it was actually a chat bubble in a cup. It was quite eye-opening and I felt dumb for not noticing it sooner. I also think it's a pretty cute logo as well ๐Ÿ˜„

@LexIris Wow! Thank you for the realization that it's a chat bubble, not a chip!! I thought this whole time it was a chip in the cup!!!

First of all do not change the logo please, continuity gives confort and safety...

I really view it as a chipped cup since all my life I treasured old things, junk and antiques since they have stories to tell and a life they lived...

And I want to extend that life...

My running shoes are 14 years old now, my belt is 35 years old, I cherish things that share my life and hated my so called "mother" for throwing away chipped cups...

I liked chipped cups since they have character and tell a story...

@ASilentObserver

For a long time, I thought that the cup was chipped. It was pointed in the room, a couple of weeks ago, that the cup is not chipped and that it is a thought bubble. It blew my mind.

WE are all just now realizing it is a chat bubble in the cup- how clever. I miss the supportive slogans that scrolled when one was waiting for a listener. Been a while since they have been gone.
