✨The magic of Cups✨

AnnaSilverberg October 11th

Hay everyone✨!

I often say that Cups is a magical community, it’s what I firmly believe.
Now, what am I referring to when I say it’s magical?
🌞
I am referring to our collective work!
When I say that our collective work is magical,
I'm referring to the harmony that we all have,
how we are all willing to support one another.

As well as how we all have a perfect understanding of what our mutual goal is
and what we want for the community as a whole.
💓

To me, magic isn't what is only found in fairy tales or on magic shows,
it's something that we all possess within us.
We all have endless capabilities to share kindness, compassion,
care and support in the world and when we choose to do so and find joy in doing so,
we are sharing our magic, our inner spark with those around us.

We are a magical community because in Cups you can and always will find
support, care, kindness, compassion and even joy!
We are all here because we want to make the world a better place,
one chat at a time. That's magic!

🙏

Cups is a big place, where everyone can find something fitting to their needs.
If you want to be there only to provide support,
you can do so through member chats.
Want to feel more social, but fast running texts overwhelm you?
The forums are your place.
If you enjoy live chats and want to socialize and meet other people
who share the same struggles or just want to be there for you,
then you have the chat rooms.

🙌

Imagine a huge cozy café, where everyone has a seat,
no matter how early or late you join, there's a seat just for you.
And when you sit down, you're met with multiple possibilities of options
that you can choose from, what suits your needs? Do you need comfort?
Or perhaps something encouraging? We got you!

🍵
Do you need a calm environment? No problem,
let's just move to the corner where the calm music is playing
and sit in the booths.
Want to feel energized? Join us in the
chatting area where everyone is sharing and having fun.
Whatever you need, we got you! Time doesn't matter, we are here.

🥰

We as humans are quite adaptable to our environments,
especially when we know what's okay and what isn't,
when we know what the goal is and what to strive for.

And when we adapt to each other to work in harmony,
just like the cords work together to make beautiful music,
our harmonious work does the same.

🎶

It's kind of like, when you start working with someone,
you adjust to who they are and what they're like.
You learn their strengths and what they could improve upon.
😊

And others do the same with you.
When we work together, we're not only adjusting to what is around us,
but to one another as well. And that's where we create harmony.

🤗

If we all had separate goals and we weren't willing to be adaptable,
we'd just be one big chaos. But we're not.
Sure, we do get people here that aren't very adaptable,
but often than not, others around that person support them in becoming
adaptable and take notice on how to effectively communicate with them
💞

Thank you, @GlenM for bringing us all together!
Now, I have a question for you all!
What magic have you found within Cups?
✨💙✨

What a beautiful and uplifting post that captures the beauty and magic of 7 Cups. I really love what you wrote here "To me, magic isn't what is only found in fairy tales or on magic shows, it's something that we all possess within us."

The magic I have found within 7 Cups is that it feels like a cosy book corner where you feel safe and it transports you to another place. A place with constant reminders to focus on our emotional health and a safe place to find connection, hope, meaning, and purpose. I also love how 7 Cups brings people together.

@AnnaSilverberg Thank you Anna for making this post and making us think through. I like the way you said,

To me, magic isn't what is only found in fairy tales or on magic shows,

it's something that we all possess within us."

I think this is true and in the context of 7Cups, even if we are unaware of this ability, everyone's efforts and kindness help us unlock it and figure out this possessed magic everyone has to create something beautiful, create a difference in someone's life through listening.

I think at 7Cups, we experience, what I call "Ripple Effects in Loop".
You do something and it empowers others and they do it. It creates its own chain of ripple effects and in turn you get empowered to try again. And the loop continues and keep getting bigger!

Thank you for this post again and helping all of us reflect!

Yaas!
I'm glad that you agree, Obs!
I do like how we're all capable of good things,
and that we actively choose to show kindness and care!
We are magic!

@AnnaSilverberg...when I think of Magic, I think of being being happy or even overwhelmed with emotions in a good way. Cups can have that but I often find that unless you can belong to a particular group, a particular room, that it is not so easy to belong. I don't want to sound negative but I think there is opportunity to grow and realize that in a place this big people will always come and go and as this happens we have to be willing to reach out to those that sit alone in the Cafe, those that keep their heads down, or those that think they are not good enough to belong.

Fallonbird, this is such a good point. It’s like the kid sitting alone in the playground or without friends. I don’t always see the silent and alone sweet people who are sitting alone through no fault of your own, or the ones who are afraid, but when I do, I do try to bring them into the fold to play. I wish you could have that.

Love and Courage, Rosebud
