I breathe in and breathe out. I relax my body and clear my mind. I AM welcoming in so much goodness.

I just completed step 50. So far I learned that not everything is worth the worry and I should only worry about the things in my control and that I could actually change.

Is it really something to be proud of though ? That you've spent so much of your life in front of a screen, doing virtual drugs, not facing yourself, not fighting difficult battles, not growing through the blacksmith's flames of life's many risks adversities and comming out keener and fresh in the end ?

Did the universe give you this body and mind so you can avoid movement and adventure, exploration ?

Is the most powerful and complex thing in the universe your very own mind, the human mind to be spent here sedated by the tyranny of kindness ?

Is kindness kindness if it doesn't recognize the different nuances.. ITs not nice to hit someone, but sometimes a slap in a crisis can jerk someone into movement, saving his life... A non nice thing resulting in a nice result..

THe tragedy is.. By hiding in a place where people pretend to be nice for too long, makes you weaker against the real world.. Cheapens true kindness too in a way, this masquerade of smiling masks hiding people that are too human to be this nice..

@GlenM

Step 86! I have learned that there is no quick fix. Getting better is gradual and sometimes it's ok to fall back a few steps. It's even ok to stay down for a while after a fall. But eventually we will start again on that forward path, either dragging our feet onward or running full speed ahead. Onward and upward!
