I will be 57 next week and my life feels so messed up. I lost my mother just after I turned 40. I can honestly say that the last 17 years of my life have been incredibly miserable. I just lost my father March 11th and now life is overwhelming me with pain and loneliness and depression and anxiety. My permanent degenerative spinal dic disease and spinal facet syndrome create chronic spinal pain. Everyday I do my best to suck it up and live The life I have remaining. Money and Insurance companies are so greedy and profits are ridiculous. I need help.....

@GlenM

I've learned to take a moment to relax and breathe.

@GlenM I am learning that it is okay to feel what I am feeling. My feelings are real and they are happening. The point is to not get sucked in my them!

Woo step 60.

I don't think that I've really learned anything new. I think the most I'm doing is strengthening the concept that if I can log in here once a day, do an activity, and some other stuff, then surely I can also manage to do something else important at least once a day. Like check my email accounts.

Or wash my dishes after I'm done eating.

Or something else that I'm just not recalling right now.

Woohoo step 100 for me smiley

I've learned that starting with one small change is powerful. You don't even have to believe it will work or feel like it's right. Just start with one small change.

If I want to feel different, I have to start doing things differently. Doing the same things over and over and expecting different results is insanity. Make one small change, it might lead to more.
