That there is not just one thing that contributes to good mental health but many small things done consistently. Each one is important in its own right.
@GlenM I am learning that my emotions are real and valid and Im starting to be a little more patient with myself.
@GlenM
succes and reaching goals is all about consistency and determination. Continuining on, even after years when it feels like no progress is being made. Sometimes it's just being in the right place at the right time that provides the spark and opportunity for leaps ahead, and the right place/time hasn't been traveled on yet. Never losing hope, keeping sites on the end, and making the process enjoyable are key. I'm still on the journey, haven't reached either of my main goals yet, but I feel like I'm learn a lot about myself along the journey, and that's the kind of progress I need.

One thing I've learned from being on 7cups is that it really helps to have a schedule, and take certain times out of your day to practice my mindfulness and just breathe :)
I have learned to accept that my life is messed up at the moment but it will get better l just need to keep taking baby step if nothing else.
Ive learned that even though it can be hard to let go of negative thoughts, its really important to, because otherwise they'll weigh you down.

Step 36! I am learning acceptance. Of myself and of others. There are some things about myself that I cannot change and I am learning to stop apologizing for being imperfect. I am also learning how to stop waiting for others to change for me. I can accept them for who they are. I might need to restructure a few relationships, but I will finally stop trying to change for others, and stop waiting on them to change for me. Acceptance of myself and others feels like emotional freedom. Thank you, 7 cups!
That it is okay to ask and receive help to deal with something. That there are people to help. :)
