GLDD: Introduce yourself here!
Welcome to Group Leadership Dynamics & Development Program!
I am excited and glad to have you with us. We are here with you to provide all support and guidance during your learning journey. This has been something we believe helps you get a better understanding of group dynamics. Please find the course description below.
It focuses on the communication and leadership behavior of individuals within group structures. The theoretical and practical knowledge are used to explore the stages of group development, decision-making techniques, group dynamics, group problem and solving, group leadership skills, cultural sensitivity, norms, and interpersonal dynamics within groups.
Please also introduce yourself and let us (if you are comfortable) where you are from and your personality type.
If you do not know your personality type, you can take a quiz here to know it! Share the one strength that you think will help you out in becoming an effective group specialist.
Please remember, you are unique and have personal strengths and gifts that set you apart from others but you can utilize them to gather all and support them in a unique way that others might not even imagine of. You have that strength and personal gift. All you need to identify, acknowledge, amplify, and deliberately use them every day to strengthen yourself to provide support and strength to others.
It will not only allow you to successfully complete this program but also help you to progress and grow on your personal and professional fronts too. You are taking a significant step towards learning and creating a difference.
Best wishes for your learning journey!!
Please note: In order to successfully complete the program, you must respond to this post. Your comment/response should answer the questions/show that you completed the given activity (if any). Start your learning journey with Discussion 01: Introduction to Group Support, then check here!
Hi @ASilentObserver
We are a system account so only two of our alters have taken this, and both came out with an ISFJ-T result. This means we are very observant, which will be a good strength in group rooms. I am very excited to have the opportunity to be in this program!
@ASilentObserver
Hello! My personality type is ENFJ-A. MY biggest strength is that I am persistent and never give up whether that's with others or myself.
I'm glad to be a part of this program and learning with all you great people :)
@ASilentObserver

A bit about ISFJ...
Although they’re Introverted, Defenders have a deeply social nature. Thanks to their ability to remember the details of other people’s lives, Defenders have a special talent for making their friends and acquaintances feel seen, known, and cherished.
Please also introduce yourself and let us (if you are comfortable) where you are from and your personality type.
I'm Siren (or Serenity) :D I'm originally from the Caribbean Islands but now reside in the U.S. and my personality type is INFJ-A 🥰
@SirenOfSerenity
Yay Siren! Nice meeting you, I'm ISFJ D
What's the A stands for?
@VictoriaLove7 Nice meeting you as well! The A is "Advocate" 🥰
@ASilentObserver
My username is @Nali1212 and I am from New Jersey.
My personality type is ENFP. I believe my greatest strength that will help me in this role is being good-natured, as a welcoming personality and motivation to do good by others are important qualities when supporting those in a vulnerable position.
I am excited to get started!
@ASilentObserver
Hi all.
I reside in the United States.
My personality type is INFP-T.
One strength is that of open-mindedness. This is needed in group settings as each person has their own methods that not all might not agree on. Being open-minded shows true acceptance of our uniqueness.
@galaxybeyond
Thanks for sharing! Looking forward to seeing your posts!

My Personality type is-
INFJ - Advocate.
That was a fun test to do!

I think something which is useful for me in group setting is that I have the ability to put myself in others shoes, see from their point of view which helps me to understand better 🙂💓

54% Turbulent
@TheCrew4887
I just notice I copied the exact same quote to use for my introduction: Changing people’s minds is no easy task – but if anyone can do it, it’s Protagonists
Great quote!
@ASilentObserver
So I took this quiz at the beginning of January and got Advocate, but this time received Protagonist. I think these things are somewhat silly but very fun nonetheless.
The part that hit me was "Protagonists’ secret weapon is their purity of intent." I think that is me to a tee. I am an Autistic/ADHD person who has a firm and unwavering social justice indicator.
I recently finished the QLP and CDM programs and am involved in the Student Track Internship (close to being done). I am so grateful for this learning opportunity.
My goals for this program are to finish it on time, with honours, and make some new fellow listener GSP trainee friends. Please feel free to send me a message as I love providing positive encouragement.
Finally, I want to thank the mentors who have already contributed to my 7 Cups Academy journey, specifically @richuyulin who was very helpful this morning.
Thanks so much for this opportunity to introduce myself.
Hi @broadfemmelovelive,
@richuyulin
Thank you so much for your kind and considerate words. Will do! Stay well!
