Often we encounter with advice or suggestions. 

Do meditation to feel calm or relax. 

Which in turn help to release our emotions.

What you prefer meditation or other technique ? 

How much effective it had been ?

i prefer other techniques heart. I like sketching and going for walks. It takes my mind off things and makes me feel better. What about you? 🎈

Wow through art you release that beautiful.

I remember when I was child I love to draw a lot.

For me the effective method worked is EFT and sometime mindfulness

Oh, meditation? Sure, when I’m feeling super zen, like a peaceful monk on a mountain top… but then there are days when my idea of relaxation is yelling “I NEED TEAAA” into the abyss of my kitchen. 😂 It’s a work in progress, right? Meditation’s cool if I’m in the mood, but honestly, sometimes I get the most peace out of talking to a plant or pretending I’m the star of a dramatic TV show while walking down the street. 🥹

Bright that interesting ways. 

Talking to plant.. feeling connected to nature.

Haha yes when we hear word meditation instant monk image pop up. 

Reading all post it making me open to many ways.

@blindHeart12 I'm not a fan of meditation because I tend to get stuck ruminating or despairing at the fact that I exist in the present moment and it makes myself feel worse lol maybe I will get better at it in time. I like going for runs and definitely writing poetry.

It's totally okay not like the meditation. 

You find your way to release which is good.

Going run and writing way is beautiful and good for body too. 

Even I started meditation i used to try a lot. It say sometime it bring out our suppressed emotions. It fine we don't have to put ourself which give us uncomfortable. As u said with time you will be better with it.

I prefer to journal, practicing gratitude and positive self talk. It has very effective in improving my mental health

Practicing gratitude had great impact in life. I read and heard often. 

Writing down thoughts that so effective too.

Great activity you too have to keep mental health check.

@blindHeart12 by a suggestion on my psychanalist, I started writing lyrics (he suggested poems, but I'm not into poetry, besides acctually like writing)  and them turning them into songs. 

I often have a real emotional releasing while both creating and hearing after.
