Thoughtful Thursday prompt #1: Describe yourself in 3 words.
I am observant, sensitive, and protective.
Observant - I was expected to obey my elders all the time. Although my nature changed over time but it shaped me to talk less and it led me to observe more about people and my surroundings.
Sensitive - Harsh scenes from TV, readings, or real-life cases do affect me and I tend to think about it for days.
Protective- I am protective of myself and my heart. It evolved from a few bad experiences and later I taught myself to be aware of boundaries of myself and other people.
This week’s thoughtful Thursday prompt #1: Describe yourself in 3 words. And what is the belief behind it?
@sky2Ocean20
Three words that describe me: 1. Artistic 2. Introvertive 3. Loyal
Artistic - I have been drawing since I could hold a pencil. I sketch in my free time. I also paint, misc. crafts, a little bit of sculpture, logo design, jewelry making, etc. I love all types of art: jewelry, painting, sculpture - especially those that are eclectic, ethnic, or stand out. I need to have art around me.
Introvertive - I am ok being by myself. I've gone to amusement parks, travel, movies, dinner, etc. by myself. At my job I am around people constantly. Afterwards, I recharge by sitting in a room alone reading a book. I also find peace being in nature- hiking, exploring new places, losing myself near water or among the trees.
Loyal- I am loyal to my friends and those closest to me. I will do everything I can to protect them. However, I am also unforgiving to those who have hurt me because I can't forget.

Three words that describe me: 1) Serious 2) Sarcastic 3) Flexible
1) Serious: it's a tricky one, as it can be one of my strengths in situations, and other times it can be my flaw, but I'm embracing it. Maybe it evolved from bringing up, and pretty much my major of studying and future career needs such criteria to be present.
2) Sarcastic: it's the epitome of my sense of humour for real. I find it a way to light up the mood when it's needed, and even it can work in dark times ironically.
3) Flexible: with being serious, sometimes I tend to be strict, but I started to work on that by evolving other side in me, aka being flexible, which I worked on by reading a lot, believing and exploring possibilities, adapting to changing circumstances, and finding peace of mind.
@sky2Ocean20 *I'm a smurf* the reason behind it well I'm tiny.😁😎
ok serious answer I'm imature - because I find little things funny, and make a lot of jokes, 😁 I like humour
I'm creative - I love to do all different sorts of art and crafts
I'm curious - I love to learn, I don't have any education, so now I want to know and learn everything 😁
Three words that describe me: creative, intelligent, cynical.
- creative - Been an artist all my life, & a craftsman (mostly in wood) for over a decade. See this journal for examples.
- intelligent - In grade school, high school & college I was a good student when I wanted to be. I haven't had much trouble learning what I need to know, with the sole exception of advanced math. (Even then, how much advanced math skill is necessary for modern life is debatable) Been tested twice; both times I scored above the average range. That ought to count for something.
- cynical - Due to many bad experiences, hearing/reading more horror stories about spouses/exes/roommates/bad friends/etc. than I can remember, & from reading a bit more history than most people without a history degree, my estimation of human nature & of humans in general is not positive nor idealistic. TBH, I consider idealism a form of foolishness. Granted, my stance is not the most feel-good one...but I'm rarely surprised by events. When I am surprised, it's usually a nice surprise.
@slowdecline48
wao.. wood curving and drawings. I can see you are a wonderful cook too.
Good to know that you were awesome in your educational life. I always hated my math classes. And was miserable through most of my assignments.
In the case of idealism, I have the same opinion.
@sky2Ocean20 😆 Wouldn't say I'm a "wonderful" cook, but it's a nice compliment, thanks. Truth to tell, I only know how to do a few things in the kitchen (most of it having to do with Italian cuisine). I am not a professional, not by a long shot. Still got a heap to learn when it comes to culinary competence. In all fairness, not everything can be done in a shoebox-sized kitchen.
I'm anti-social, sensitive, Abit careless
Lately, three words that describe me well are:
- tired
- depressed
- chronic
@slowdecline48
*hugs if okay*
I would describe you as...
1. Kind
2. Strong
3. Brave
🤍

I am Calm, honest, and loner.
Calm - I used to care about others actions but now it is very hard for someone to bother me because I don't care anymore.
honest - I don't have to lie about anything. If I don't want to say anything I just say it is personal and I can't share it.
loner - I don't like feeling unwanted or ignored so I just do everything on my own most of the time and don't have anyone to rely on if I am facing hard times. so one man army lol!
