What Made You Smile Today?
My students
Meeting my nieces for the first time today. They are 5 and 6. My youngest turns 20 in July, so it's been a LONG time since I had any people this little around!
I just wish it were under better circumstances for them.

when i see the people i love or just strangers happy and enjoying life it made me smile seeing that they are happy
I was part of a walk out for gun violence at my school and seeing students genuinely care about making a difference made me happy.
Also my cat, so freaking cute!
Receiving a message from a friend
I couldn't make it to brunch with my lil sister so she swung by and still took my older two out for brunch and had a great time with them. They got to hang out with one of my fave or actually my only fave sister. ( i have two other sisters but I'm closest to her. I know I know I shouldn't have favorites but can't help it with this one 😂)

What makes me smile today and every day is all the great and true friends I've found on 7 Cups since I first joined last year! 
Even though we're all a world away, geographical barriers won't stop true friendships from developing and I am happy & fortunate to have already made some friends who are like family to me from around the world!
