What's your disability?

Evois June 7th, 2016

I have a learning disability.

What is the most difficult part of your disability?
For me its being slow when my brain sometimes either moves toooo fast or not fast enough and I have to take longer on stuff.

Osteoarthritis in both hips, 4 buldging disks and a pinched nerve. Left hip bone on bone, very limited mobility at age 48 from slipping in the bathtub when I was 35. Can't do a lot of the things I used to love to do, going for walks, riding a bike, long walks on the beach, walking my dogs. So depressing. :( Thanks for listening.

I've had epilepsy since I was 15 and I'm 31 now. I had brain surgery in 2004 which helped a lot, basically getting rid of the grand mal seizures, but it detroyed my memory, concentration, attention span, and focusing. They took out my whole left temporal lobe and that is where a person's memory/concentration/etc comes from.

I struggle with fibromyalgia. It made me change my life in a way that i don't even recognize myself anymore. Everything is tiring and painful. Nevertheless i still fight each day to live a normal life and i'm not letting fibro bring me down!

Sorry to hear about everyone's struggles but you all have come a long way with dealing with your disability's and your all still going hope your all proud of that some pain or struggles may stop you but you don't give up that's great

For me I got never tendon damage in my wrist and spine I got moderate depression moderate bipolar depression mild anxiety mild panic attacks my hands have not much grip on things I hold my right wrist with tendon n nerve damage that hands grip isn't good my spine hurts can't stand for long my wrist locks up cause the tendons have moved and are damaged I'm very low on energy always tired and run down low on vitamins n very low on iron but cause of knee deep in bills I can't eat much anymore I eat very little cause to expensive to buy food and no money to go towards food so I make do with very little energy I got and push myself to do house work when my wrist and spine let's me and I sprained my ankle 5 times in one spot so that puffs up a bit time to time and hard to walk that will never heal proper again :( sometimes my spine gives way or my knee so that's why I'm either sitting down doing my crafts or crashed out on the couch lol

@IOverThoughtThisToo

That sounds rough...Are you able to "keep afloat" with your diagnoses?

@Buito Each day is a journey all its own. Some days I *almost* forget the acronyms. Other days I fall flat on my face. How about yourself?
