What's your disability?
I have a learning disability.
What is the most difficult part of your disability?
For me its being slow when my brain sometimes either moves toooo fast or not fast enough and I have to take longer on stuff.
My disability is
My hands are loosing there nerves and my feeling in both hands are slowly going away soon I won't be able to pick anything up well would be able to bit my grip will not be good and I won't feel it at all I got serious spinal issues the nerves in that are going away too I got pain relief for it but it only last for a few hours lease that's something
I also got mental issues anxiety panic attacks serve depression social anxiety like yesterday I was carrying a very heavy bag and my feelings went in my hand so I threw the bad on my car boot so I could get my feelings back in my hand so I could put my daughter in the car while I was waiting for my hand to come back to me this guy thought he'd be a tough c**t and mouthed off at me all because I threw my shopping bag on MY Car boot so I yelled out looked his way and said my bag was effin heavy my hand effin hurts its my car once my daughter and I were in I quickly sped off home cause didn't feel safe in case he came back :(
@BrightRedFlower2322. I am sorry you had to deal with a very ignorant person, I have similar issues, my hands are in constant pain and sometimes can't grip anything, so I have dropped many items while taking out of the fridge , and broken glasses. People who don't understand have made me stronger, I like you point out that that , judging just makes them look stupid, I used to get upset, but realized that didn't help, good for you that you stood up to his ignorance!
@jr50
Thank you its horrible cause my wrist as well has tendon damage too and it totally sucks cause I can't hardly feel much anymore but it doesn't stop me from doing things like my crafts but its hard to do house work at times but I try my best to mop and sweep and the dishes but my yard I can't do at all some people are just very rude and don't take in acount that some people have struggles more than others and they judge a person very quickly I'm starting to stand up to people more I don't care I'll mouth back to them all my hands wrist and back is caused by my ex domestic violence e

@BearcatT yo my UC buddy!
I have major depression and anxiety (mix of things, namely panic disorder and social phobia). I'm considered disabled by social security. The hardest part is having the stamina/motivation to do things. Also not having enough money to be independent :(
@fearlessWriter78 That is, severe major depression

@turquoiseFan8960 hi! Do you mind if I ask you what screen reading app you use? I have glaucoma, so blindness is in my near future, and my mom is completely blind. We're always looking for recommendations on good things for blind folks to go online with.
@PurpleForest
Hello! I'm a Mac/iPad/iPhone user, so I use VoiceOver which is built in. For Windows I think there are several options. JAWS is what most people use, but NVDA is quickly gaining popularity as it's open source and free. Hope this helps.
@turquoiseFan8960 that did, thank you. I have recommended the iPhone or iPad for my mom, it's good to know what else is available and what other blind folks like.
