2) Community Questions and Answers - The Basis of Mental Health Awareness and Support
As previously introduced, the Questions and Answers Pages at 7 Cups offer a wide range of quality based answers to common mental health questions
Questions and Answers are available for 38 main categories, ranging from General Mental Health, Disabilities, Managing Emotions, Loneliness, Grief, Recovery, Student Life, Work Stress, and many more!
Through this directory of available knowledge, awareness, and support, 7 Cups is equipped with answers to the common questions and concerns people have. Most of these Questions and Answers are featured in search engine results due to the value of the content they contain.
The main community Questions and Answers Page offers a recent questions section as well as a section containing the most answered questions.
All 7 Cups users are invited to search for or ask new questions through the main page. Community users can also participate in this area by submitting their answers, which are reviewed by a team for quality and other important requirements.
Through this discussion, we will discuss the basic requirements needed to research as well as write quality answers for the Question and Answer Pages. Additionally, we will optimize the drafted answers in light of certain guidelines.
(i) Basic Research and Writing Requirements: When writing answers to community questions, keep in mind these tips:
-
You need to write a minimum of 150 characters and 100 words.
-
If research is needed to guide your answer, consider only learning about the topic and avoid direct copy/pasting researched tips, advice, or information.
-
Consider verifying the information or facts through at least 2 reliable sources.
-
When researching possible answers or things the person can benefit from, consider their circumstances and if the tip is do-able and generally applicable.
-
Avoid plagiarism.
-
Use professional and appropriate language.
-
If comfortable, you can add a personal anecdote to help add meaning to your answer. However, avoid turning the answer to just your account or an entire focus on your experience.
-
Be empathetic, and consider using active listening skills to help not only answer their question but their feelings - this adds connection and meaning to your answer, as well as identifies understanding, which can lead to trust.
-
Answers should be related to the question and must contain tips or approaches to help deal with the question/situation instead of vague responses, even if positive.
-
7 Cups is based on avoiding direct advice, this is because we do not know the complete scenario or situation a person may be facing. Keeping that in mind, avoid giving answers that provide one possible “solution” - a good tip is to consider encompassing all possible outcomes or more than one thing the person can try.
(ii) Ensuring Optimized Answers: Although the above requirements and tips help deliver a great answer, further optimization of drafted answers can help ensure their quality.
At 7 Cups, the Content Team uses researched and identified important keywords to guide their research and the writing process to result in optimized content as answers to community questions. In this regard, the basic tips/requirements involved are:
-
Ensure answers have at least 8 to 10 sentences.
-
Ensure the usage/incorporation of the maximum number or all of the provided keywords that can relate to the topic.
What are Keywords?
Generally, keywords can be thought of as terms or phrases that describe a piece of content. Related keywords are supporting keywords that can help further describe or expand on that initial content. For example, for the keyword “anxiety”, related keywords can be “anxiety symptoms” or “anxiety treatments”.
Keywords help with search engine marketing and hence are an important part of SEO strategies. A simple strategy to find keywords is to look for Google Related Searches. These related searches are searches that relate to your term. For instance, a Google Related Search for “anxiety symptoms” is “what is anxiety” - using this insight, you can consider including this phrase alongside a brief category of your content outline to help strengthen the optimization of your content.

Question: How do paper bags help with panic attacks?
Provided Keywords: asthma attack, heart attacks, asthma, problems, brown paper bag, medical conditions, hyperventilation syndrome, mouth, respiratory alkalosis, common causes, chest pain, benefit, stress, medications
Approved, Optimized Answer:
While panic attacks might mimic the symptoms of heart attacks, they can be caused by several other problems and medical conditions. These include feeling stressed or facing medical conditions such as asthma attacks, hyperventilation syndrome, or even respiratory alkalosis. Although the common causes may differ, common symptoms include chest pain. Deep breathing through the mouth or by using a brown paper bag has its benefits, as it aids in the restoration of the loss of carbon dioxide in the blood during the panic attack.
Notes: The question was general, requiring general research-based knowledge on the process of using paper bags for panic attacks. As the keywords were essentially covered, note that this answer does not have 8-10 sentences, but further supporting information or even a personal anecdote can be added.

@WeEarth One strength is that it is a very kind and compassionate piece. Secondly, you gave it a good length. It doesn't feel like something not well thought out. Lastly good job on fitting in keywords in just the right places. The only tip I would offer is to utilize more key words. They make the reply pop more and give the person you are replying to even more to work with.
@WeEarth I loved your thoughtfulness you were very compassionate. The length is good too with enough detail. Your use of keywords is helping to give the piece a sense of positivity and cleverness in their use. Great piece!

Response to question: Self-esteem and self-worth are horrible problems to deal with, but you can overcome them. That inner critic has a good time causing self-doubt and using negative self-talk. You are an amazing person capable of many great things. This has been something I personally have struggled with throughout my whole life but through therapy I got a big boost of self-confidence. Self-love is one of the most important things in life. Your family members love you which is proof that you are a worthy person deserving of love. Work on developing a healthy relationship with yourself and become an even better person that you already are. Good luck on your journey for self-improvement. And remember to always use open communication when expresses your needs and how you feel.
NOTE: This is my second time doing this assignment. My first piece is no longer showing up, on my end but it shows in my history that I completed it.

@CupcakeCaring Every article I write will include an applicable element. This isn't the place to just write academic pieces alone. My intention is for articles to be educational and applicable. Things that could be used with the SMART goal model. As well as other things that are easy and accessible. I think it's why I enjoyed my applied psychology course so much.
@ThoughtLight
I like the way you integrated your personal experience and how you overcame with therapy into your answer. It gives the reader a hope :) Good job 👍

Question: What to do when you feel you are not good enough for someone?
Provided Keywords: parents, partner, self-esteem, social media, self-worth, good news, best way, first step, human beings, children, therapy, self-love, family members, better person, good time, good luck, inner critic, self-doubt, negative self-talk, real reason, whole life, amazing person, self-confidence, voice, right thing, healthy relationship, great things, information, communication, end of the day
My thoughts on the first step on what to do when you feel you are not good enough for someone would be to speak to your parents and other family members. At the end of the day they have known you your whole life and will be able to boost your self-confidence and tell you what an amazing person you are. It’s far too easy when looking at things like social media to fall prey to self-doubt and let your inner critic have a voice. Human beings have always had a way of being too critical and not using communication effectively, but the good news is that you can do great things without needing anyone’s approval. Believe in yourself and you will see that the real reason you were feeling that you weren't good enough is because you care! You will do the right thing. Smile and step forward - you got this! Good luck!

Good answer. Thanks for the effort.

Nice job!
Your answer has 10 sentences, 792 characters, 189 words and 22 out of the 30 keywords provided.
One small tip to improve your answer is to show more empathy. You could do this by focusing on both the content and the emotion of the person asking the question.
@SoulfullyAButterfly
It looks like you're going through some difficult moments with a person, perhaps feeling them distancing themselves from you, or perhaps it is that you are facing some self-confidence issues and you see yourself different from the usual environment of that person.
Low self-esteem is actually a common problem. We, human beings, tend to compare ourselves through our whole life with people we consider as models; people we see on social media, our parents, our family members..etc. And this inner critic could lead to a negative self-talk and self-doubt when we start to "see" ourselves as lower to other people. The good news is that most of the times, the real reason is mainly our perception to ourselves, and in reality, we would only need to love ourselves and then we could start percieving our real self-worth.
Self-love is the first step and the best way to realize how of an amazing person we could be, see the great things in us, be proud of whom we are, work on becoming a better person and accept things we can't change. You can nurture self-love by encountering yourself with people with whom you feel like having a good time; your children or your partner for example, as long as it is a healthy relationship; a relationship based on communication and where you feel you're having your voice heard. You can also nurture self-love by living with your own values; doing what you consider to be the right thing, and have yourself as your priority. At the end of the day, practicing self-love feels like therapy.
I wish you good luck, and if you need any kind of information or support, please feel free to ask.
@SoulfullyAButterfly
Have you ever battled against feelings of worthlessness, meaning that you don't feel good enough? The first step is to identify the real reasons causing these feelings, which can include negative self-talk, self-doubt, low self-esteem, and broken communication among family members, including parents. If you find yourself scrolling through social media and comparing your life to others', remember that people often act in front of the camera.
If you're feeling down, talk to your partner and nurture a healthy relationship. Consider therapy to address these issues and always strive to improve your level of self-love. Maintain a gratitude journal to recognize the great things happening around you and acknowledge the amazing person you are. Raise your self-confidence by doing the right things at the right time, and remember that children learn self-worth from adults. At the end of the day, you will feel that you have a beautiful life.
Good luck on your journey filled with self-love! 💙

Hey, loved your answer. It's well structured. However I felt like the tone was like offering advice or prescribing an action plan. If the tone was more suggestive, I feel it'd be received well by the reader. Nevertheless, a great answer :)

Question: What to do when you feel you are not good enough for someone?
Feeling that you are not good enough for your friends, family members, or partner can significantly impact your self-esteem. Another source of self-doubt is the comparison on social media. The first step to overcoming these feelings is to acknowledge your worth. Recognize that you are an amazing person, which is essential in building a foundation of self-respect and confidence.
Begin by reminding yourself that you are valuable and deserving of love and respect, regardless of external opinions or comparisons.
Recognize the impact of social media on your self-esteem. Make a conscious effort to reduce the time spent on platforms that contribute to feelings of inadequacy by comparing your life to the curated highlights of others.
Enhance your communication skills. This is key for a healthy relationship, not only with others but also with yourself. Prioritize your voice and feelings, fostering a positive internal dialogue that supports your self-worth.

Question: What to do when you feel you are not good enough for someone?
Feeling like you're not good enough for someone is a common struggle many of us face at some point in our lives. First and foremost, it's essential to recognize that your self-worth isn't determined by others' opinions or expectations. The first step towards overcoming this challenge is to practice self-love and self-compassion. Take a moment to acknowledge your inner critic and challenge negative self-talk with positive affirmations.
Remember, everyone experiences moments of self-doubt, but it's how we respond to them that matters. Consider seeking support from loved ones, whether it's talking to parents, family members, or a partner who can offer empathy and understanding. Therapy can also be a valuable resource for exploring the root causes of these feelings and developing strategies for building self-confidence.
Social media often portrays an unrealistic image of perfection, so limit your exposure if it triggers feelings of inadequacy. Focus on your strengths, achievements, and the positive impact you have on others. At the end of the day, prioritizing your mental and emotional well-being is the right thing to do, and with time and effort, you can cultivate a healthy relationship with yourself and others.
Remember, you are an amazing person capable of achieving great things, and I wish you good luck on your journey towards self-acceptance and fulfillment.

Question: What to do when you feel you are not good enough for someone?
Provided Keywords: self-esteem, self-worth, good news, best way,, good time, good luck, , self-doubt, negative self-talk, real reason, right thing, great things, information,
This is a feeling that many human beings experience in there life, whether the self-doubt is in regards to a partner, a friend, your parents or family members. Some people will say to go to therapy to build your self-confidence. But really, in my opinion, the first step in beating that inner critic is self-love. Look yourself in the mirror and tell yourself that no matter what, at the end of the day, you are an amazing person. You deserve great things. Relationships are all about communication, and sometimes, if it comes down to a relationship (because we cant choose family), you might just need to find a better person. A healthy relationship is one where both people feel loved and included. Social media can have such a negative effect on self love, because well if you aren't the most (social media site) worthy couple, or friendship, is it worth it? As a society we spend our whole life judging ourself through a screen, feeding that inner voice with images of people we perceive as better than us, which just increases the negative-self talk and creates this cycle. Your self-worth shouldn't be defined on anyone else but you, because let me tell you, that you are a beautiful person. Every person has the ability to achieve great things, it just depends on what you do with it
@Bunnylovesyou
This is such a beautiful response, you used generally applicable answers, empathy and avoided direct advice.

@SoulfullyAButterflyI possess several strengths that contribute to my ability to effectively represent disability and mental health in literature. Firstly, I have a high level of empathy, which enables me to understand the experiences and perspectives of individuals with disabilities and those who are struggling with mental health issues. This allows me to create characters that feel authentic and relatable, helping readers connect with the subject matter on a deeper level.
