Academy Central Support Thread! Go to thread for academy questions
Hi everyone! I hope you are doing well. It is common to have questions regarding your academy program journey. It can be challenging to wait for a response so to provide speedy support, we have decided to have this one central thread where all academy trainees/interns can ask questions related to their academy journey.
Here is how to get support!
Respond to this thread with your question(s) and the program you are enrolled in. Remember, more information is better than less information. Provide context where needed so you can get speedy answers.
Who can respond to the questions?
Academy mentors, graduates, and even trainees if they are sure of the answer! Feel free to support each other and provide tips!
Make sure to keep an eye on your notifications so you can check the thread for answers. You can expect an answer within 24-30 hours.
Hi.
I remember seeing something about a referral on LinkedIn, once we finish the internship program. But I can't find it anymore, and I'm not even sure what it had stated. Where can I find this piece of info?
Thanks
@88Avocados You can find it here Avacados AcademyLinkedInEndorsementsRecommendations
Hello!
I have completed all my requirements for the internship (community track) and I sent the final evaluation form on the 16th July, but I haven't received any news yet. I was supposed to finish on the 26th June but my internship has been extended to the 24th July. Does anyone know if my form has at least been received? When should I be able to receive some kind of feedback?
Thank you in advance for answering!
@sweetmikayla Hello Sweet, I am an Intern mentor leader and we have received your FE Form. You will hear about it mostly in this week. we are sorry for the delay
@Hope

Hey there @quietlistener2023 is this sorted already? If not, you can reach out to QLP mentors listed as available here: https://www.7cups.com/forum/qlp/MentorOffices_2211/7CupsAcademyMentorsQualityListeningProgramAvailabilityUpdates_238976/ and they can guide you forward! Good luck!
Iβm a bit confused on something for my QLP.
The questions we have to answer at the end of each forum, do we have to answer them in the forum, or do we keep the answers aside for a later date?
Im not sure if that question makes sense
Hiya @tuffattack good to see you again and that's a valid question!
As mentioned in all the discussions linked here: https://www.7cups.com/forum/qlp/IntroductiontoQualityandActiveListening_2209/QLPQuizandCourseworkForm_238888/
Yes, after replying to the discussions in the forum itself, you do need to also save the forum responses to some document/ notes, as you'd later be asked to submit them in the course evaluation form as well!
Feel free to reach out to QLP mentors listed here, if you need further clarification on anything: https://www.7cups.com/forum/qlp/MentorOffices_2211/7CupsAcademyMentorsQualityListeningProgramAvailabilityUpdates_238976/
Hope this helps! Good luck! π
@Hope

@organticCandy3721 Hello Candy, can you please Pm me regarding the link and the issue you are facing?
Of these 3 programs in order what easier to hardest
gsp Qlp and cdm
trying to decide witch one to take next
@Waterfallsofnature36
I feel this is a subjective opinion, not as easy to compare as all the programs are different in what they offer and demand out of a trainee, also would typically depend on what you like/ comfortable/ available for:
β‘ spending time more on and/ or more comfortable with (like if you're more comfortable with listening in PMs ~ QLP, if you like supporting and leading in group chatrooms~ GSP, if you like to create content, express your thoughts etc~ CDM),
β‘ your goals related to the program (learning outcomes, if you'd like to get into a role of a specific domain ~ quality track, group support track, content related roles etc),
β‘ time/ weeks you can commit to (so you can also check out the course structure of these programs to see what aligns best with your interest and schedule)
Shared just a couple of parameters to reflect on. You can also chat with mentors of the programs for more insight, questions or encouragement, if you need!
I believe it's more important for you to decide on something that you feel *you* want to do, that you're inclined towards or interested to learn more about! Good wishes with whatever you decide!π

I've taken every course in the Academy that is open to members. In my opinion, GSP was the least amount of work and the easiest to complete. I know that the program requirements change over time, but generally, you'll need to host a discussion once a week. You'll need to participate in the chat rooms up to a certain amount each week. You'll be expected to read the material, answer the questions, and participate in the forum discussions within the GSP Academy program. This was all easily done and quite enjoyable. Those are basics.
I enjoyed the LDP and CDM programs as well. One good thing about the Academy programs is that many contain the same set of requirements, so they kind of snowball, and it becomes easier as you complete each one.
Want to see for yourself? Fortunately, we have a Notions wiki that sets out the requirements for each program. You can look through it to better gauge which ones will be a good fit.
Hey guys! My QLP 2-week trial started today, and I had a bunch of questions:
1) I opted for a duration of 6 weeks. Are the trial weeks included in those 6 weeks or are they separate?
2) One of the requirements is: "Complete 3 hours of active listening weekly." Does this only include talking to new members, or do existing members who I talk to weekly count as well?
3) I have already finished one of the 4 Active Listening quizzes. Can I pick electives that I'm already done with somewhat, or do that have to be 100% done from scratch?
4) The 5 hours of weekly listening needed for the Honors, does it include the trial weeks as well?
Thank you!
Hey there @ABrightBlueHeart you've got a great username and yay for enrolling in QLP! Those are great questions!
1. Yes, trial weeks are included in your overall program duration!
2. Yes, it includes all members new or old, you'll talk to, during the program!
3. You definitely can pick electives you've already completed, it's even recommended to do so, for a smoother experience, so you can focus more on the other components of your program! Click here for a guide on electives-selection.
4. I'm not a 100 % sure of this one, so I'll leave this for others to respond to.
You can always reach out to QLP mentors for any questions or support anytime needed also, here: https://www.7cups.com/forum/qlp/MentorOffices_2211/7CupsAcademyMentorsQualityListeningProgramAvailabilityUpdates_238976/
