Academy Polls, Round 7: Self-Care Practices

Hi everyone! I hope you are well. This week on Oct 10, 2024, we have World Mental Health Day. Therefore the icebreakers are following that theme. 

Reminder: The poll closes on Friday. Get your answers in before Friday. You can still take part afterward, it just won't be counted in the final poll results once they are posted. Please select only 1 option, choose the most relevant one! 

This poll is a bit unique, instead of choosing your favorite self-care activity, you will choose one of the following self-care practices to do this week and report back when done!

What will you do for self-care this week?

a. Do at least 15 minutes of exercise of my choice

b. Eat a nutritious meal 

c. Meet a friend/family member who I value 

d. Enforce a boundary (saying no to something against your core values or that does not align with your goals)

I'm choosing B, because I'm one week back with not drinking soda (yayy me!) and going to incorporate healthier foods. It just seems the easiest for me to do. 🤣

I’m excited to move my body and boost my mood.

It’s a great way to recharge and take care of myself!

i’ll be choosing option a) to do at least 15 mins of exercise of my choice! i’ve been wanting to start exercising again.. i’m petite so people might not think i need to exercise! but i’m anemic and needs to keep my heart active 💗

My choice is option A…..exercise releases endorphins which helps boost feeling of wellbeing and happiness.
