Reintroducing the @7CupsCommunity Account!
Hi, everyone!
I am excited to announce that we are re-launching the @7CupsCommunity account!
The community management staff gets many messages and tags, and although we do our best to get to them, we'd like to do an even better job addressing your questions and concerns in a timely fashion. The goal is to try and streamline communication with the broad community by providing one aligned admin account. On the other side of the account will be rotating members of the community management team.
This time around, in addition to answering forum tags, we will also answer PMs!
Please tag @7Cupscommunity for the following reasons:
- You have a question about the site or you are unclear on a guideline
- You are curious about a site update
- Someone did something awesome and you think they deserve a high five
- You'd like to share an idea
- You'd like to report a bug
You may PM @7Cupscommunity for the following reasons:
- To report a bug
- Site/navigation questions/where to file a report
- To ask for guidance on who to go to for a specific issue
- You have a question about something you haven't found the answer to anywhere else
Please DO NOT tag or PM @7Cupscommunity for the following reasons:
- You want to report someone specific
- You want to share confidential information
- You want to ask about an application/role you're waiting on
- To ask about the status of your account (rejected, if it's being reviewed, etc)
- You need personal support
All queries will be responded to within 72 hours (In rare cases where we need tech support to properly answer your questions, it may take a little longer to get a response). We hope this helps you get the answers you need!

It says link not found, so it would be good if you could hyperlink that in the text for us.

@ThankYouForLettingMeTryingToHelp I just see item removed. The address shows it's directing to the Kitchen Table, which no longer exists. If the link is working for you, can you see what forum you're in? I would like to know where the thread ended up.

It looks like the "Community Information" forum was moved to the "Site Updates" community. The following two links both work for me and are equivalent:

It looks like there's a broken link in the communtiy account profile page, which happens to be the same thread that @ThankYouForLettingMeTryingToHelp is trying to point to.

@QuietMagic Deleted was one thing I was wondering as it should at least come up on a forum search and doesn't - although that can mean it's on the listeners side too.
Seems like an odd thread to delete if that's what happened, a number of questions were answered in that thread if I'm recalling the correct thread properly.
@AffyAvo Using my listener account it appears to have been deleted. According to my records it seems I last saw it on August 23rd, 2019.
Ironically, one of the comments in the deleted thread (in relation to another matter) was:
Forums would definitely be better, because there's no permanent log from a chatroom so anything said there is lost.
Recently, many threads have been deleted from forums. I think an archiving policy would be better, but it's probably too late now to rescue 7 Cups' history.

@7CupsCommunity the resources for the Community Projects & Events are very outdated. The person we are told to contact if it needs updating is MonBon which is also out of date. Is anyone responsible for doing that?
@Heather225 Is the account answering questions? The profile shows it was active 'in the last week'. Looking around the forums though, the last time I see a post is in October and it doesn't appear that questions in Nov or Dec have been answered.
@AffyAvo @EvelynRose @GlenM @Hope It now shows activity as being 'within the last month'. Were qeustions actually being answered in November and December though? If so, it seems like there's a backlog and that's just from me using the search function.

The timeframe on emails is 72 hours. The posts from Nov and Dec may need to be retagged for this account. We have done our best to answer the notifications we saw.
@7CupsCommunity End of Jan and beginning of Feb tags still aren't responded to. Emails go without answers. I have asked a question via the help and support form and 2 different email accounts.
@7CupsCommunity @EvelynRose Has this been abandoned for now? If so, it would be useful to have that infromation so people aren't tagging this account, waiting for a response.

The account status now states active within the last month, which I think means has been over a month because the categories are labelled in a funny way.

@7cupscommunity - When it comes to notifications is it still possible to send ones to listeners only? Lately it seems like there's a fair bit of content that members cannot access but we are being sent the notifications.
If it's a tech change, is it possible to implement the different notifications again?
If it's not tech based, can those sending out the notifications be more mindful about who they choose to send it to?

Why are these going out to members?
In general I think some thought needs to be applied to notifications ie. Is this something that people should be notified about beyond those on a taglist or who are subscribed to a community?
If so, what type of broader base should be notified?
