This also allows new members of the team to refer to this original post for the information needed. Bi-weekly check ins are going to be posted in this thread from now on. When these are posted, please do respond as these are posted to make sure that you are okay, and that you're still active. In stepping into a leadership role with 7 Cups, you have agreed that you align with our values and wish to uphold our mission. You have the ability to inform and influence our community members. Use this knowledge for its intended purpose only. In other words, please do not abuse your privileges. We trust you to be responsible and maintain confidentiality. ➡. Refrain from engaging in triangulation. This is a very common mistake people make without even realizing it's happening. Triangulation manifests itself in our community as one person who will not communicate directly with another person, and instead use a third person to relay communication to the second, thus forming a triangle. Triangulation is damaging because it interferes with healthy conflict-resolution and lends itself to rumor spreading by taking a private situation between two users and exposing it to more people. Getting feedback can be hard to hear, especially if it's more of a constructive criticism than a praise. Leaders should be able to accept feedback gracefully if given constructively. We all are human and all have things to work on and grow. ➡ Please honor and follow our social media policies (i.e. no off-site contact with community members). 7 Cups is a safe environment for you to build and create connections. We love that you are building supportive relationships with each other and enjoy connecting! In order to preserve this safe space, we ask you not to solicit off-site contact. Also bear in mind, once you take interactions off 7 Cups, we are unable to assist you in the event something happens outside of our site. ➡ Reporting is our responsibility. You are the eyes of our community. We have several ways to report incidents that cover all areas of the site, and we rely on you to direct users to those channels. The term forum leader is an overarching title which sums up all leaders who support with the upkeep of our forums. We'd be delighted to have you on our team and we're confident you'd be a good fit. Step 1: find the perfect community There are over 40 different communities available for you to choose from. You should be familiar with the community you have chosen before you consider applying for a leadership role within it (note: forum supporters can be onboarded provided that they meet the core criteria and have posted recently in their chosen community or have ideas to help develop/improve the community). Community Mentor (CM) • Our community mentors help CMLs lead the community by creating engaging content and help with moderating their chosen community. • Quota/responsibilities: at least 1 discussion/event each month, 10+ threads OR posts each month within their community, forum moderation, supporting new leaders, needs reply posts. Forum Supporter (FS) • Our forum supporters help their chosen community with engagement and help ensure their chosen community is a safe and inclusive environment for all. • Quota/responsibilities: at least 10+ threads OR posts each month within their community, needs reply posts. Needs Reply team (NRT) • Our needs reply team help ensure everyone gets responded to. Members of this team help to ensure the needs reply queue is regularly cleared. • Quota/responsibilities: at least 10+ needs reply posts each month. Step 3: ready to apply? You've made it to the final step! Before you submit your application, have a browse over our frequently asked questions: What happens if I lose my badge because I couldn't meet the 10 post quota? Your badge will automatically be removed if you (FS/CM/NRT) do not meet the 10 post quota. What if I need to go on a self-care break? Self-care breaks are encouraged to ensure we put ourselves and our own wellbeing first. You can have a self-care break up to 3 months at a time before we request that you leave and rejoin the team at a more convenient time. If you are returning from an extended self-care break of 3 months or more, you can contact the forum ambassador/admin who may onboard you after completing the refresher training. The 10 post quota sounds like a lot... The 10 post quota will be achieved as long as you post 10 times within your chosen community. This could be new threads or replies to existing threads (e.g. answering needs reply posts). The CML and CLT PA roles does not have this quota as they have other responsibilities.  Do I have to log into the site every day as a forum leader? No, there is no expectation for you to log in every day. As long as you visit at least once a week and achieve your quota, you're a great fit. It's important to put your own wellbeing first. I want to support more than one community! Forum leaders are able to support up to three different communities before becoming a global community mentor. Once you have settled into your first forum leadership role, you can discuss supporting other communities with the forum ambassador/admin. You will not need to apply again to support other communities if you are already a community specific forum leader. Are you passionate about supporting others and want to help provide a safe space for people to express themselves? Then this might be the role for you! We are currently looking for new additions to join our Communities Leadership Team [https://www.7cups.com/forum/7cupsleadership/LeadershipResources_2404/MeetTheCommunitiesLeadershipTeam_276125/] as Project Agents.  What is the team and what do they do? As a member of the team, you will be working alongside the Communities Coordinator/Ambassador and will be responsible for supporting the forums and its leaders through leadership and engagement like approving and onboarding new forum leaders, creating icebreakers and games, and helping ensure every user is acknowledged and appreciated. If accepted, you will be allocated a number of responsibilities depending on your chosen focus. There are currently four focuses available for you to choose from: Events • Supporting with planning and delivering seasonal events/discussions such as holidays, Mental Health Awareness Week etc. • Supporting leaders with planning and delivering community specific events like National Coming Out Day/Tree Planting Day etc. Engagement • Supporting the Needs Reply Team by helping ensure every user gets a response • Identifying opportunities to improve engagement through effective answering, icebreakers and games across all communities Community Building • Supporting new or smaller communities with recognising potential and helping drive engagement • Supporting with ad-hoc tasks and projects specific to individual communities as the need arises Leadership • Assisting with outreach (1-1, AMA discussions etc), approval and onboarding of new forum leaders • Helping with forum team bonding initiatives such as team meetings and games Welcoming team • Assisting with the outreach, onboarding and mentoring of new forum welcoming team members • Assisting with appreciation initiatives to showcase forum welcomers and helping ensure every user is warmly welcomed What are the requirements? ✔ A clear behaviour record within the last 6 months ✔ Must have read, understood and agreed to the Leadership Guidelines [https://www.7cups.com/forum/7cupsleadership/CommunityInformation_742/7CupsLeadershipGuidelines_222236/]  ✔ Must be a Verified Listener (applicable to listener applicants only) ✔ Must have been on 7 Cups for at least one month ✔ Must be familiar with and regularly use the forums I want to have a different focus / I have another question...   2. Please make posts for your team or projects that you need help with in the Help Wanted Hub.

  4. If there is a project needing help, @SoulfullyAButterfly can be contacted for assistance. 
  5. Please ensure that other projects are able to get a chance to be featured. This is a shared share and everyone's project is just as equal and deserves the same highlight as others.
