I know that sometimes we can look back at our year and think about all the things that were hard or we didn't do or we just wish for the calendar to flip at midnight.
A date flipping doesn't change us.
A mindset changing changes us.
Hope changes us.
Action changes us.
You see, even in the hard, you were strong.
You made it to today.
Even in the down parts, you were brave.
You made it to today.
Even in the moments when you didn't know what to do, you were creative.
You made it to today.
Even in the times when tears were shed, you were real.
You made it to today.
Even in the moments of anger, you dealt.
You made it to today.
Imagine if you could look back at this year, and even if it was the worst year ever, and see where you were strong, powerful and brave!
You have it within you to do amazing things. Hard things. Brave things. Bold things.
You are kind.
You are brave.
You are strong.
You are wonderful.
You are courageous.
You are fearless.
You are insightful.
You are creative.
You are giving.
You are generous.
You are important.
You are forgiving.
You are unique.
You are tenacious.
You are loving.
You are worth fighting for.
This is your year. Your day, your month, your time.
But it is up to you.
Not a program, not a schedule, not an agenda.
You.
If you want 2025 to be amazing or freeing or redeeming or healing then you have within you the power to do the mental part.
No one controls your mindest, only you.
You were created to do amazing things. You can do this.
I believe in you.
Don't dismiss 2024 - learn from it.
Challenge yourself.
Give yourself grace.
It wasn't perfect, but here you are, almost at the end.
And breathe.
Each day matters, my friend.
And so do you.

My word for 2025 is LIGHT.
Light can always be found.
It is a source of great power both literally and metaphorically.
You can switch on a light, no matter how dark the room and sometimes, just knowing that power is yours, is all you need.
If light is your word become a seeker of it.
An avid collector of all shapes and sizes.
Sunrises, sunsets, clouds split from above, rainbows and rainbow prisms that shine their way through doors and windows and anywhere they can. Sparkles on water and glimmers on snow and ice. All of it.
Each time you notice any light, take a beat, collect it to keep, and use the moment to anchor yourself in time. Imagine the light flowing through you to the core of this planet and all the way back to the highest star you can.
Be grateful for the light you just found, or the light that found you.
This is mindfulness, gratitude and anchoring for you making you present in the moment.
Be a maker of LIGHT.
Become obsessed with finding ways of cheering the grey, of using the beauty of this world to regenerate more beauty.
Watch the ways in which you can spread light by sharing hopeful thoughts or well intentioned wishes and be aware of how doing the opposite will steal others’ light but also deplete your own.
Light, as a word of focus, also requires you to feel light
At ease.
At one with the world, whenever you can.
Be versatile, yield when the wind blows and let go when nature asks.
If light is your word this year, prepare to receive much JOY.
You will not be sorry, for a year spent bringing in more light.
Seek the LIGHT, Be the LIGHT, and Bring the LIGHT.
Acceptance
I want to learn ACCEPT things in my life as they are....be more of a "it is what it is" person.....to stop catastrophizing and ruminating, and ACCEPT that some things, for whatever reasons, cannot, or are not, going to change....I need to learn ACCEPT that things that can change, may not happen on my time frame, no matter how hard I try or work on changing them....
"God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference"
.once I learn acceptance, I can move on to courage and wisdom.....

are word for 2025 is rewrite as in to rewrite the program within us. that was placed there by others as away to control and keep us within what they wanted us to acted like.
we see a lot of what we was taught as a child was mental programming that no longer needs to be what we live by. so to rewrite within our mind a more healthy pattern of thinking about feelings and self worth. even about daily living and beliefs about self.
to rewrite within us to be more healthy and to change ways we think about others and self.
rewrite things about trust and asking for help from others,
to rewrite ways of thinking and acting
Rewrite is an incredible word and will touch so many facets of your life. Live authentically be you. You are on a journey of self.

thank you we use to have a book that was christian called rewire it was about how we can rewire or rewrite the way we think in that the way we acted so that partly why we are choosing the word rewrite for 2025 😸

My word for the year is Acceptance - Acceptance leads to a peaceful life.
Definitely 💯 agree peace and grace derive from acceptance. It is a powerful word that is understated. The Let Them Theory aligns with it beautifully.
