I like the weather of September and the color of the leaves, except that I have no trees, but my neighbors' trees seem to drop all of their leaves in my yard.

The colors of the leaves are so beautiful indeed. Although leaves can be good for the ground, too many of them can also feel annoying, especially if they are not yours!  Some people pile them up in areas where they may effectively smother a section of the yard and use them later on for the ground.

What I like about September is that it is still mild. However, it is cooler and more comfortable than the heat of summer.

All 4 seasons happen in the city where I live. I feel I get a well-rounded experience of God's Creation/Nature.

It's wonderful to go for a walk and feel the mild sunshine of September! 

That it's not as hot as July or August, usually.

I like that my sons high school soccer season starts and the I get to watch him play again.....I say that now, but once we start traveling for away games a few times a week, volunteering for booster club events and concessions, come November I'll be burnt out and glad its over....happens every year....Excited for the start of whatever league he is playing in and by the end of the season, I'm ready for it to be over....lol

I enjoy the last bit of summer and its breeze that keeps cool on a night. Therefore I'll miss walking around in the still weather and miss wearing summer clothes.

September is my birth month.

Somehow, I made it to this age. My twin and my sister didn't. I miss them every day.

I have lived long enough to find out that, because of Artificial Intelligence, talent doesn't matter anymore. Anyone can draw, anyone can write, anyone can sing now - the computer will do that for them. Talent was the one thing I had, the thing that kept me going. Now I don't even have that.

I wish I could just fall asleep and not wake up. I am tired of grief and disappointment and heartache. I'm tired of the struggle. If there was a God, I'd give him a black eye if I could. Sorry for the vent.

There is a lot of pain and disappointment in your words. When we miss loved ones, life becomes much harder than it is and everything else that comes on top of that feels at least twice harder as it is in reality.  I hear you about AI, there will be some benefits but also some negatives. 

I hope coming here helps you to find some ease during the day.
