Community Director
Heather, also known as H, provides oversight to the community at large, handling high-level concerns regarding safety and quality and nurturing the development of our unique support-first ecosystem.
H is committed to leading with empathy, enthusiasm, and curiosity, and building close collaborative relationships across the community to help our esteemed volunteers achieve their goals and reach their full potential.
Laiba (Hope)
Dean of 7 Cups Academy
known in the community as Hope, started as a volunteer at 7 Cups. She has an academic background in the field of education and experience in volunteer management. Laiba believes in learning by doing and a student-centered teaching approach. She oversees 7 Cups Academy and helps out with community initiatives.
Rahul (ASilentObserver)
Community Manager
Mostly known as Obs. He believes in “Take your small steps”. He is responsible for Group Support, the Teen community, and the Verified Listener program and focuses on scaling up the support in the community with everyone’s support.
Ayesha (SoulfullyAButterfly)
Head of Content
Ayesha Tariq Ali, Head of Content, is a psychology graduate who combines her passion for mental health advocacy with her writing and poetry talents. As someone who believes in the power of the pen, she enjoys helping others realize the potential of words for change. At 7 Cups, she oversees all things content and has been working on combining quality content with product features to enhance mental health support. As a leader, Ayesha believes in procreating change by leading it and enjoys lifting other leaders to join in the efforts.
Mango (CheeryMango)
Forum Coordinator
Mango provides oversight to the forum which includes all the communities and leadership roles such as Forum Supporters, Community Mentors, and Community Mentor Leaders. In addition, Mango is actively engaged with the forum domain ambassadors in various projects and events to help foster engagement within the community.
Evelyne (EvelyneRose)
Quality Specialist
Evelyne covers the overall Quality of the volunteer listener community and is a liaison to community managers. Evelyne’s project oversight includes the Anonymous Evaluations, Listener Coaching Team, Care Team, Active Listening Tests, and Safety Patrol.
Bookworm (Bookworm4)
Safety Specialist
Bookworm works behind the scenes to help bolster our community's safety measures in collaboration with the Community Managers and the Listener Coaching Team. Bookworm also heads the Adult-Teen Listener (ATL) Project.
