Bio
Hi there :)
So; a little bit about me:
I found this website when I was going through a really tough time, and over the past couple of years I've found that helping others with their problems helps me with my mental health issues (depression and anxiety definitely; potentially PTSD - not diagnosed but I've received treatment for the depression and anxiety).
I highly recommend for depression and anxiety you read the book: Reasons to Stay Alive by Matt Haig - it's not morbid despite it's morbid title
I have many other books that have helped me become more informed on how to cope with my mental health issues; such as The Chimp Paradox by Professor Steve Peters. I also study psychology and am particulary interested in clinical psychology and neuroscience; hence all the books.
I am not a professional by any means; so if you think you need help from a professional organisation please call your national helpline or talk to a therapist on a website.
For the sake of my own wellbeing I may take periods of time away from here - hope you understand :)
I'm still learning and developing my own coping strategies.
Thanks for your time - hope you have a good day :)

Freshapricot34 is an amazing listener who supported me when everyone else gave up on me. No matter how anxious or depressed or how much I pushed her away in my darkest moment she just stayed and comforted me until I felt better and she helped me gain confidence in myself. I can't thank her enough for how much she's done for me, and she doesn't realise the impact she had on my life. Truly amazing! !!
