Hello, my name is Tate and I am so thrilled to be back here at 7 Cups! I am a moderator and a verified listener here on 7 Cups. I am an artist and an actor. I draw, write, and do photography. I currently study Psychology In college. On-stage acting is one of my greatest passions, aside from finding joy in helping others. I'm a chronic pain patient and am currently battling a nasty disease in my kidneys. Pain management is one of the things I strive to help people with and know a great deal about it. Anxiety/Panic disorder, as well as Obsessive-Compulsive and Depression, is something I've struggled with for a very long time as well and have been diagnosed with. Although I am happy to listen and talk about most subjects. 

I recently was diagnosed with Bipolar Type II with Mania. I have come to know quite a bit about them and would happily listen and talk about those issues as well. My specialties are listed but I'm willing to listen and talk about any subject you might have; no matter how big or small, your problem is worth talking about. I've been on 7 cups for quite a while, and I love it here. If I don't answer right away, it is because there is another person I am attending, to or am not online at that moment and time. I will try my very best to answer and respond to every single person. I am also very active in the LGBT community and have lots of experience with coming out as a homosexual, as well as coming to terms with homosexuality and discovering identity. As well as dealing with family stress related to that subject. If there is anything at all that I can help you with, please don't hesitate to message me! I'm well versed in psych, and I aspire to be a Psychiatrist one day :)

Taten1199 is compassionate, understanding, and has a very good ability to connect with you regardless of what issue you are talking about. While talking with Tate, I instantly felt comfortable and able to speak openly, which is the main problem I have in the real world. Overall, my experience with Tate was amazing. :) I felt understood, cared for, and like I really had a friend that was there to just talk to me and hear me out.
