Hi,
I'm an undergraduate student who is finishing off their bachelors of social work degree. I have spent a lot of time learning about various social and personal issues commonly found within western society, including groups who are racialized, culturized, or discriminated against.
I have been recently spending much time and energy towards time management, personal goal setting and accountability, and strengthening certain neural pathways to help me develop my personal well-being with the future in mind.
I examine my own wellness by breaking it down into 8 categories- physical, mental, social, spiritual, emotional, vocational (how time is spent), financial, and environmental. I am a person who does not have all the answers but strongly believe in personal development as a means to promote increasing stability and strength in wellness. This does not mean to dismiss various factors outside of our control, but to bring attention and focus to the things we can control so that we can take back control of our life.
I am not perfect, but I do genuinely care about people's well-being. I will not have answers for you, but I can be a support in your journey.
