Hi, I'm a law student from the DC area. I studied social work (and dance) in my undergrad career and fell in love with all that it stood for. I live my life meeting good friends along the way and the sudden absence thereof. When I'm not cracking books or writing briefs, I'm usually volunteering with CASA groups, domestic abuse crisis organizations, and mental health awareness groups. It might be important to note that I come from a first generation immigrant family and assist my non-native English-speaking parents in translating/interpreting and living life in the States. It's stressful for me and I'm sure for most who deal with it. I'm also comfortable speaking Korean, French, and Haitian Creole, though I may not be able to fully understand all the emotional vocabulary of the latter two, but I'll do my best.
