Bio
I am a university student and student researcher with interests in mental health and neuroscience. I am easy going and enjoy learning about a multitude of topics. I grew up in Northern Ontario and enjoy hiking. During the winter you can catch me reading a book and enjoying a diversity of music. Some of my latest reads include: Julian Jaynes - The Origin of Consciousness in the Breakdown of the Bicameral Mind, Nancy McWilliams - Psychoanalytic Case Formulation, and Mark Smith - The Early History of God.
I am happy to talk to anyone about a variety of topics. I am also happy to just listen if anyone needs a chance to just let their feelings and thoughts out. I have experience with anxiety, depression, family/school/relationship/work stress, and I have a working knowledge of major mental health conditions. I believe that psychoeducation is important and that with understanding comes strength. No one needs to feel alone and I want to help make that more of a reality for whomever I can.
Please note that I am not able to provide professional advice as a listener.
