Bio
I am a senior student at a Chinese-foreign joint university. I aspire to become a professional psychological counselor and participate in various related trainings and practices. I have been a peer counselor at my university under professional supervision for two years and served as an online peer supporter on another platform for one year. I also interned in a psychiatric hospital for three months, shadowing the counselor and planning group activities for hospitalized clients. Through these experiences, not only did I gain counseling experience, but I also became more aware of the importance of really listening to every individual's narratives and being there for my client. My style of psychological support is tender and respectful. I care for equity a lot and hold the value that each of us may be the minority in certain perspectives and everyone should be treated respectfully with care. I am LGBTQIA+ friendly and am willing to learn from clients' multicultural backgrounds.
