...See more Hello everyone, I m Mindful II recently joined as a new forum supporter for the women's issues subcommunity and wanted to introduce myself. I'm a male ally who's been dedicated to women's empowerment for some time now, in real life. My aim is to help create a safe and supportive space for women in this community. Why did I become an ally? Well, it stems from witnessing far too much violence against women in my life, which deeply affected me. I could feel the pain of the women around me and beyond. After spending days researching the issues women face regularly in our patriarchal society, I felt overwhelmed but determined to make a difference. Since then, I've been working towards empowering women, both online and offline. Thank you for welcoming me, and I look forward to contributing positively to this community. //MindfulJourney22//

...See more Hey lovelies! 🥰 My name is Kayla 🌸 I just wanted to introduce myself and tell y'all a little bit about me. TW: SEXUAL TRAUMA To start off, I am a mom to 3 wonderful little kiddos! They are currently 5, 5, and 6. I have 3 dogs, 2 cats, a bearded dragon, and 2 turtles. I am a recovering addict, currently 2.5 years. My sober date is June 8th, 2021. I have been through a lot of trauma in my life. It all started when I was 6 years old. My adoptive father sexually, emotionally, and physically abused me from 6-13. My supposed biological father then did the same from 12-17. After I had my son at 18, I went through a few relationships that turned violent as well. Through everything though, I have kept my head held high and every time I get knocked down, I get back up. I also have a bunch of health issues as well. I struggle with PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome), Secondary Infertility, Hypotension, Vasovagal Syncope, 3 different heart conditions, and a whole long list of other medical issues. My point in telling all of you this is: I have been through a lot. I am very sweet and kind. And now y'all know that you guys can talk to me about anything that you need to! My inbox is always open to anyone who needs a listening ear 💕If you message me when I am offline, I will get back to you as soon as I can.

...See more Greetings everyone! we are  coming up with a check-in for you all today with a bit of information below- Sexism is a form of discrimination based on a person's gender, typically against women. It involves treating women unfairly or unequally due to their gender, often perpetuating stereotypes, violence and limiting opportunities . It is important to address sexism and empower women to fight against it.  Feel free to answer the Question below- Q In what ways can we encourage and support women to break free from societal norms & expectations, pursue their passions, and become strong advocates for gender equality?
