Question - Chat Hours & Notes in Chat

Kahilum08 September 2nd, 2019

Hi there, friends! My name is Kahi, and I've been a listener on 7 Cups for about 2 weeks now.

I've been hunting through the site in Q & A threads, along with the 7 Cups Wiki page, but I'm at a standstill now, so I thought I'd ask for some help.

Q1:

In the Certificate tab on the "Training, Certification & Rewards" page, there's a column on the righthand side that lets you kknow how many chat hours you'll need under your belt in order to qualify for a specific certification.

Thing is, I haven't been able to find a counter that can tell you how many hours you've put into your chats. I suppose you could just keep coming back to this page and seeing if you've hit your goal yet, but I'm hopeful there is another place that you could look for it.

Q2:

When you're in a chat with a member, sometimes you'll see a popup which mentions that you can take "notes" on the chat by clicking a pencil-like icon on the top righthand corner of the page.

I've hunted around a bit while in chats, but am still unable to locate this notes icon.

Thanks to any & all who read this question and try to guide me on them!

<3 ~ Kahi

@Kahilum08 Hi Kahi!

Q1: I have never seen any other chat hours counter. You could bookmark that page to make it easy to go back to.

Q2: I have never seen the pencil icon either. To open your notes, click on your own profile image at the top right, then choose My Notes from the menu that pops up. When you open your notes, there is a pencil icon there but I think it's just decoration and it doesn't do anything useful.

@RarelyCharlie

Hi, Charlie!

Thanks so much for your help on this! I was able to locate the "My Notes" pad in the menu list under my profile icon -- that'll be very helpful in chats from here on out.

As for the chat hours, bookmarking the page will probably work out best then :)

Hi Kahi!

The top row actually tells you how many hours you have. So in the picture you showed us, you have 7 hours. Does that help answer your question?
