Halloweentown and Hocus Pocus! Same and same! Except this year is the first time that I finished watching the whole Casper movie lol. Isn't the ending a little abrupt though??

Go to Halloween movie is well... Halloween

Why? It's because it was the first movie my dad and I ever watched together, just the two of us and it was on Halloween

It's legitimately scary and it has this psychological aspect to it which just makes it my favourite movie of all time

gotta be nightmare on elm street, dacula dead and loving it and young frankenstein

Oh man how do I choose just one movie?! Halloween has been my and my wife's favorite holiday forever. I'm a big fan of the classics of course, Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday the 13th, Halloween. But if I'm picking a favorite it must be The Shining! I love the psychological aspects of that movie, and think Jack Nicholson was made to play Jack Torrance. Just a really great movie IMO.

If you haven't seen Doctor Sleep yet, check it out. Thought a sequel to The Shining would be impossible, but it is just... Well, take a look πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

My go to is Nightmare Before Christmas at the start of the month, and then The Shining on Halloween.

Nightmare Before Christmas really kicks the season off for me, and the Shining has good memories attached to it

First time I saw that movie was at a screening in a Belfast cinema. I was the only one not in costume and I had no clue what the heck was going on, but it was awesome! 😎

I frigging love scary movies!

Don't really have a 'go to' Halloween movie, but my favourite scary movies are probably Ringu (and the remake), the first Paranormal Activity, and The Blair Witch Project.Β  Different things scare different people, but those three really spooked me.

Recent stuff?Β  Everything by Mike Flanagan - that guy is incredible.Β  Also enjoyed Evil Dead Rise this year, Smile and Barbarian last year, and Fall... that was so intense.

Certified movie geek here, always happy to chat about this stuff!

Practical magic. It has wonder, humor, romance, and a great story. I always recommend it during spooky season.
