The Richness of Love and Support: Member Appreciation Week
Hello community ❤️
This week is member appreciation week. We’ve set up this event especially for each of you. You make 7 Cups the special place it is, so we’re taking this week to honour your experiences, your empathy, your compassion, your support, and your honesty. 7 Cups is for you, and we want to take this opportunity to touch on a very special topic: love ❤️
Love can be a confusing thing to talk about, because of how abstract it can be. Perhaps you’ve wondered: how is it supposed to feel? Is it when you do something for other people? Is it something you chase?
So let’s break it down a little. Let’s start with you. If you’re not ready to open your heart to other people, then self-love is a good place to start learning about what love means to you.
Self-love means something different to each person. This means that love isn’t just a feeling. Love is a choice too. We might not be able to fully control our emotions, but we can certainly control the actions and routines we choose to have in our lives. No matter where you are right now, you can love yourself by choosing to do the things you know are good for you.
For you, maybe that looks like going for therapy. Maybe that looks like taking a break, or cutting out a negative influence in your life, or setting some healthy boundaries. Maybe it looks like ice cream and pizza for dinner (or breakfast, if I’m being honest with myself). Maybe it means taking a walk or reading a book or staying off the news and social media for a day or two.
You are the one who knows you best. Perhaps your heart is already whispering to you about some things you try. No matter what, I want you to know that this community is here for you ❤️ We’ll walk through this together, okay?

1. I'm feeling great. 2. I love the rain especially the sound of it and how fresh it makes outside smell afterwards. I love to snuggle up and either read or watch a movie when it's raining. 3. Precious time with my wife, we don't get much.

I love to listen to the sound of rain as it falls on tin. I had a piece of tin put outside my bedroom window so I could hear it when I'm resting.
What is something you want to treat yourself to today?
I will enjoy 5-6 double stuffed Oreos and milk.

2. Probably, staying in, watching anime or stand in the balcony watching the rain. And ofcourse a mug of a hot drink.

1. I'm okay; better than I've been in the last few days, but there's definitely room for improvement.
