Have you had any struggles today? (I'm laughing to hide the pain) I have issues with the place i'm in and our landlord is rasing the rent but not fixing anything. . . I think she wants us to leave without directly saying it. We had neighbors that had drama, but we stayed out of it and yet we are still getting punished.
What have you done to overcome them? I have no idea what to do as we are very limited funds. My mom just hernia surgery and cannot lift and doesn't have much education which limits jobs and I cannot handle people high anxiety and extreme depression. (A small step I am up, out of bed, and i cleaned a bit)
What is the best thing about today? I have a pepsi

That sounds so frustrating, Rebekah. It doesn't sound fair to raise the rent without fixing what's needed. Is there anyone who could help and maybe talk to the landlord with you? I wish your mum a speedy recovery, dear. Must be very dificult to not be able to do things as normal during the recovery process.

@Ayla Thank you. . . HUGS. I just have dark thoughts and they don't help me stay motivated. In fact, just want to go to bed and never get up. I feel like life is pointless and my family was created to be God's joke.

I had a relatively unpleasant conversation with someone today, where I feel like they said some things about me that were not kind at all. It felt very one sided. I was really upset at the time.
One good thing about today is that I think I did handle that situation well. Even though I dont like the way they spoke to me and I dont necessarily agree that things they said were true, I was able to keep my composure and remain calm during the conversation. I apologized for upsetting them and thanked them for letting me know how they felt. I feel like thats the way I want to handle situations like that and I also feel like it shows maturity and it helped prevent the situation from escalating.
I am tired. But I am here. And I am whole. Im working really hard to try and remind myself that I am not responsible for what other people say or do. I am not responsible for how other people talk about me or for what they say to me. Im responsible for my own actions and words and thats pretty much it. How other people choose to talk to me or handle situations or address things, is their personal responsibility not mine. That is a hard one for me to get down but I am trying.

My mother in law is upset with one of her daughters and she's been TRYING to push MY buttons
What have you done to overcome them?
Avoided her kinda like the plague and I've openly explained to my husband what's going on so he's up to date on the situation and he knows when it's time for him to step in and me to step out
What is the best thing about today?
I came home from work and I laughed with my kids and I joked around with my eldest J. And my babe called me on the way home and we talked for like 2hrs. I always look forward to his calls
