Traumatic Experiences Community Daily Checkin - Monday 14th August 2017
Hey all you amazing people. Extremely Sorry for the late checkin as have been loaded with work. Hope the week started off good for you. Monday here again with all its blues. But you all are amazing and awesomest of the people. I am sure you are taking good care of yourself and showing utmost compassion towards yourself and judging yourself a lot less. You all have it in you and you can make it. It is just a matter of time, One day at a time, one idea at a time.
Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter. --- Martin Luther King Jr.
Never remain silent on things that matter to you. Ask for what is rightfully yours. Take what you deserve. Learn to say NO. Our boundaries are our private property and no trespassing is allowed by anybody under any circumstances without our permission.….

Omg, I am the first person to reply!!!
Very timely post for me. I was just talking with someone this morning about boundaries; I am in a lot of inner turmoil currently due to the situation I am in feeling like it is constantly and consistently encroaching upon my boundaries.
@singercrystalspirit
I'm sorry crystal. I hope you're able to sort this out. Boundaries are important 💜
@warmheartedTurtle6662
Hey Alice Thank you.
@singercrystalspirit sorry Crystal that sounds unsettling. Sending you strength ang hugs
@sujaypai
Boundaries are hard to set and keep but they are really helpful. I have a lot of boundaries. I dont like to be hugged or touched, don't like it when people talk too loudly or make loud noises or make eye contact, or trust them, and many others. Its hard to make it clear to my friends that Its nothing against them, it's what happened to me before. Its not their fault when I flinch or when they accidently drop something and I cower in fear. Its not their fault. It's hard to set boundaries without completely blocking everyone out. Not many people have time to care about me or check in on me or help me and not many people have the patience to navigate the maze to my heart and trust

You're worth it.
boundaries is been a hard one for me, but as i get older and more ive been though the easier its been to have them. like personal space, no touching, no sneaking up on me, there are LOTS of texures that are off limits cause i cant stand them due to spd. no coming up behind of me and pushing me without first saying something all of these have been hard to deal with and needed to have boundaries put up to help with them.
@sujaypai
Thanks Sujay. Great post. It is ticky learnng to say no when history has taught me it was unsafe. Today, I'm able to say no with love and it doesn't cause so much anxiety. I still have times when it feels more difficult to say no, particularly if the person I'm saying no to is tends towardon agressive side. Each time I do, the easier it gets.
Happy Monday,
Mary
@MKJart ❤️❤️ hugs, Mary
@MKJart
Thanks for the encouragement, Mary I want to be brave and continue practice saying no.
@MKJart I am glad you practice saying No. As they say saying No is also an art and as you said with practice it becomes easier. Saying no is not so much as what how the other person behaves aggressive or whatever it is more about you and how you feel that you want to say No. Take care. Stay strong Mary. You are doing wonderful.
