Apparently I can't send chat messages anymore. The Send button (with the paper airplane) just doesn't do anything.

Did I do something wrong? What's happening?

I tried Chrome, Firefox, and IE; it apparently has something to do with being on a desktop computer, or it's blocked by the network at my work. My phone is working fine.

Must be my network, then. Networks on military bases are notoriously restrictive.

That sucks, though; I can't install this app on my phone.

@hrichardson8 Yes, could be a network restriction. 7 Cups uses different communications protocols for web pages and for messages. A security system could permit one but block the other.

@hrichardson8 Yeah, sounds like it could be the firewall blocking it.

You may want to check your browser popup settings too, though. I haven't tried to send chats yet, but if it tries to open a popup or new window, it could be as simple as clicking an "allow" button.

I have the android app. Rarely get on PC. I feel bad when I don't respond to some. Am I missing the search button. Actually I am having a time with responding . It is difficult to follow someone's story chronologically. Any tips???

I get the notifications but it takes me to odd places sometimes.

Hi. On my member account, I don't have access to any group chats. And on my listener account, comm rm, supprt rm, anxiety, disability, 50+, lgbt+, member comm, and 24/7 support. I haven't looked at group chats in forever but last time I did it had depression rm, anxiety rm and some others that are missing now. It's the same when I am on the iphone app and on safari on my phone. Is it something wrong with my account?

@PurpleLychee Your account is probably OK. They changed the rules for group chats and now you need various badges to access them. There have been posts in the forum about it.

Er-the account creation date on your profile ("Member since") states June 30, 2020-while the post here was published on April 22nd, 2020-a couple of months earlier.
