3 Key Things!
Please post here 3 key things you have done to help move 7 Cups forward. I will be doing this on a daily basis. Feel free to do it daily, weekly, or monthly. Right now we've got thousands of people doing a lot of work on the site, but we don't have a clear way of being able to support one another. The goal of this thread is to help all of us see all the good work that is going on. Please ask any questions or share thoughts!

@SparkyGizmo ❤️
Here is a random shout out !
Thanks for being their to hear my echo when i fail
And i couldn't find my way back to feeling right at
All !
In theory i should be okay, guess I'm wondering
what do you do when you have a struggle you can't
resolve it by saying or doing anything and it's a soul
you care about, but they have retracted from you ?
This isn't poetry or happiness time !
Just a thought of something in question form !
Please excuse me to all whom may actually read
this .
Take very good care..
Sincerely Taka~.
@Ineedlove7777
Thank you for your shout out! Thank you for allowing me to read your words! *hugs*
1) sad
2) want to cry
3) i really feel empty
@iwishuwell
You are not alone my friend! I have moments like that too! If you want, you can talk to a listener here on this site. I hear we have some mighty fine ones! (you can go to the browse listener page) Either way, I send you *hugs*
@SparkyGizmo
aww thank you for the love and hugs and yeah i have been feeling low lately but i am getting better and trying new stuff to keep me busy
1.) Estimated expenses for next month
2.) Cut and painted my nails
3.) Ordered replacement lip gloss
4.) Arranged for volunteer work
5.) Found out the ARNP psych nurse doesnt come to my branch, so I'll have to go to a different city (not too far away) by bus
@berryfields2409
I'm going to follow your lead my friend! I purchased a bottle of baby pink hued nail polish called "Ballet Slippers" (I think it is called), some time ago. I thought it was funny because I heard that this is the Queen of Englands favorite color and by the same producer of the polish.
It was cheap and cheerful and I purchased it at my local drug store. Good enough for a Queen? Good enough for me and on a budget. But for some reason, I keep telling myself that I have no time to do this nice thing for myself. I haven't opened the bottle and I have had it for the longest time.
So, I come here every day and log my "3 key things". Okay, for tomorrow, I already have 2 of them covered but for #3 I am going to list "painted my nails". I said it publicly, so I have to hold myself to it or I have no integrity! haha
I have a few more chores to accomplish irl and after that, it's nail polish time!
Thank you for reminding me that self care is important. I send you *hugs*
@SparkyGizmo
I heard that too about Queen Elizabeth! Im so glad my post could help in some small way! Did you actually make it? Im curious to find out!

3) PMs/emails/admin work
Hello community!
1. Outlining of new partnership policy
2. A lot of administrativia - financial items, letters/approvals, payments
3. Fun community items (!) - quick calls/chats with Heather, Laiba and Obs on quality, spam in the forum, and new trainings to help listeners better utilize the growth path to help members (as outlined in this very old post from 2015 - https://www.7cups.com/forum/ListenerLearningJourney_149/GlensCorner_1874/HowtousetheGrowthPathtoBetterHelpMembersandGuests_30991/). It can sometimes take a long time to circle back to early ideas :D
@GlenM
I must say your post resonated with me. I try to always think of "begin as you plan to continue". What is it that I am going to do, set out to accomplish, what is my mission, my mantra? What's my deal, who am I, and what is it that I represent?haha!
"Begin as you plan to continue", requires consistency, but.......many times there are road blocks, things that stand in our way, that can disrupt the original vision. Or sometimes we learn along the way and just change our minds. And at times we just have to scrap it.
I think it's great, that maybe you are going back to basics, remembering some things from the past that were part of the brain child all along. And maybe some things just take time. I haven't clicked on the link yet, so I have no idea what it is you speak of. But I promise, I will click on it in just a moment. Again, your words resonated with me.
@GlenM
Hi, regarding

Thank you so much for the GROWTH PATH reminder and link.
I am a big fan of the value the GROWTH PATH provides in the way of jumpstarting focus and mindfulness and self-care.
I'm also a fan of the Noni Chat Bot Reminders and other resources that 7Cups provides.
So based on your reminder, I am providing all of the information below to:
1) Members that I chat with
2) new Members that I private message
(to welcome to 7Cups because I cover their problem and I noticed them on the General Request list but was unable to chat at the moment)
I even included a paraphrased quote as shown below (hope that's ok).

@7motivation
Such a comprehensive post! Love the quote!!!!
@Hope
Thank you very much. It's comprehensive because I'm given way too much space to write here.
I need to self-enforce a Tweet-like message-length restriction on myself here
I'm also learning to self-moderate because I am somewhat very new to posting on any forums anywhere.
First I type everything I feel about the topic (like a rant). Then instead of posting it, I do a really long time-out. Then I go back and totally self-moderate the message and reframe it so it is completely positive and will be taken the right way and adheres to all the Forum Rules and Community Guidelines. I'm still working on making things shorter as you can see. It's tricky because I have a lot of important things to say.
Now getting back to your reply:
I think Glen is making a really good important point.
It's a point I've made in the past, too and I want to add to it:
- 7Cups has a good set of resources to get someone moving down a path of progress.
- Let's all use 7Cups resources to their fullest advantage.
- Let's all show others how we get great results with 7Cups resources.
My goals going forward are to do my part so:
1) people are aware of all the important 7Cups resources that could help them,
2) people see examples of how 7Cups resources have helped others to make real major progress.
3) people get the help they need to make the GROWTH PATH work for them to make major growth.
4) people get recognition that they achieved their major goals
For point 1 above:
I created this infographic on using Noni Chat Bot features I think are great but somewhat hidden and hard to notice so are not used much perhaps.
For point 2 above:
I am searching for 7Cupper's major progress stories and success stories on using 7Cups.
I see people mention that they did a simple self-care activity and that is great.
I really want to see how people are making big tough changes so I too can learn from it and share it also.
I will reach out to Listener Coaches, Chat Rooms Moderators, and Forum Moderators. Also I will search the Forums more. I haven't seen anything major yet.
I know there are stories here
and here etc
But. . .
The big improvement stories are getting "lost in the noise" of the tiny improvement stories.
The big improvement stores are hard to find so people can't learn from them or be inspired from them.
The big improvement stores are not being given big recognition so we don't see the true heroes and the true heroes are not lauded as they should be.
If I am a completely uninformed newbie because I am here only 4+ months and there are stories and I just don't know how to find them, then please let me know where to find the successes and the lessons they learned so I can share them in my chats.
Going forward, I'm going to make a point of always looking for How 7Cupper's are making major progress changing in their lives.
The reason I do things like this is I come from a work background of identifying best practices, making breakthrough system process improvements and creating virtuous process cycles. So it's ingrained in my neural pathways and habitual thinking.
Although I haven't seen any major personal success stories yet (perhaps because I'm somewhat new here), I have seen alerts about leadership contributions here at 7Cups.
I would be great to see alerts about success people have had in making progress in their lives . I know that personal stories are private, but I think it would really help others if some people were willing and able to share their success stories with the broader 7Cups community to help lead the way.
I hope this message gets a lot of replies where people share their great success stories in how they are using the 7Cups resources to make progress or tell me where I can find people explaining their success stories here.
The more people can share from their experience and make it visible, the more others can get inspired and follow their example and build on their techniques. I like virtuous cycles of people showing how they triumphed and then how things kept getting better and better.
Takeaways: please everyone
Share the 7cups resources and how to use them.
Share stories on how people are using them to improve.
Share big stories how you created major virtuous behavior cycles.
7Cups: please
Make it more visible and easier to find the above success stories for newbies.7Cups: Please put all of the success stories in 1 place by category. Let us see and celebrate our heroes who made major breakthroughs!
7Cups: Please give badges for making major life-changing improvements Members say they made and get them to explain how they did it.
For example,
FRIEND MAKER BADGE: Overcame Loneliness by "Watched Making-Friends-Podcasts Followed Recommendations and Made New Friends",
SOUND SLEEPER BADGE: Achieved 2 weeks of Good Sleeping Habits by _____,
ACTIVE LIFESTYLE BADGE: Achieved Consistent Physical Activity by _____,
HEALTHY EATER BADGE: Achieved Good Eating Habits by _____,
ETC.
People would really resonate with striving for getting a super meaningful badge that recognized that they made a real major change of life achievement. Then they can stand tall as our 7Cups real heroes that have the recognition they deserve.
7Cups: please tag forum posts that are major success stories so easier to find with the Search Pages
https://www.7cups.com/forum/search.php?searchForum=
7Cups: Please continue to foster people to take back their power to make changes, monitor the results, and finally achieve their change goals.

@Shadowfox135
It happens. Keep working at it. Start over again. Perhaps a live in rehab will help provide safety and structure.
@sensibleSkies8757
I for one appreciate your tenacity! I do that myself! Fall down, get up, fall down, get up! I keep doing my best to move forward always! big *hugs*
@SparkyGizmo
@GlenM
1. I've told people about it and told them if they ever want to take this is a great place! (Or if they want to help)
2. I always try to post to threads and interact with other listeners (please don't be afraid to hit me up!!)
3.I try to go back to the members I've already interacted with to ask them how they've been.
