3 Key Things!
Please post here 3 key things you have done to help move 7 Cups forward. I will be doing this on a daily basis. Feel free to do it daily, weekly, or monthly. Right now we've got thousands of people doing a lot of work on the site, but we don't have a clear way of being able to support one another. The goal of this thread is to help all of us see all the good work that is going on. Please ask any questions or share thoughts!
@GlenM
3 key things you have done to help move 7 Cups forward:
1) Maintained a steady amount of hours each day towards helping members.
2) Clarified on misinformation pertaining to the role of the Listener.
3) Brought awareness of 7 Cups onto social media, including conitnuation of funded support to keep 7 Cups alive.
So today I don't think I managed to do three things ... however I think I managed
- positive interactions with peers
- 12 step peer pro trainings
- checked in with some members I'd not connected with in a while
1. Prep for call with team and ambassadors on Monday
2. Team building exercises
3. 3 Key Things appreciation and encouragment :)
@GlenM
1. Expanding Mindfulness through out 7cups slowly. Adding new folks to the team. Raising up Room Supporters to become strong confident mods
2. QandA team adding a few new "surprises" so can't share yet. Also trying out a new way to edit/approve some of the rejected questions and answers so that we have a higher monthly stat. Also getting our the link to the community so they can share on questions/answers that do not belong in their area or are inappropriate so that I can move and edit them. I also do many Mindfulness Discussions monthly. Also open whatever room I see or hear the community is having a hard time. I give them Open Chat so they feel they can share and be more freer.
3. Letting myself be me and standing firm on my beliefs and boundaries!!
@RumpleSteeleSkin

Well being in 7 cups actually helped me to improve my listening and counseling skills. 3 things I did recently : 1. I took time out to do a course with CCEF to improve my understanding of myself. 2. I reread 7 cups for the searching Soul 3. I activated my listener account and started taking chats again.
*By the way I really love 7 cups for the searching soul. Great book
@faithlove1111 awesome. I am glad you find it helpful, Faith. And you are back as listener to support community. That is wonderful. Thank you!
@GlenM
- I've been helping out in the listener support room as much as I can, sharing knowledge is always fun!
-I've been accepting new mentees to help guide listeners and acheive their goals.
-Doing mockchats with listeners in order to verify them and taking a few member chats when I can! 💖

@GlenM
3 key things for the day
1. Completed the last 6 of the peer pro trainings
2. Read through forum posts to educate myself and responded to 2
3. Interacted in LSR to learn
Gratitude abounds: @Tazzie thank you for finding me in the LCR and thank you for asking all of the right questions. You really have no idea how much I needed you right at that moment. Thank you for noticing that Sparky wasn't feeling quite as Sparky as usual. I got to experience what peer support means. Thank you for being the perfect mix of support, comfort, as well as education about this site. Thanks for letting me know that what happened is not ok no matter who you are around here. Thank you for letting me know that self care was in order. I didn't have it in me to take a member chat which I noticed in myself even before you told me it was ok. I felt so much better after you spent all of that time with me! You turned a negative into a true positive and I promise, I will never forget it!
Gratitude abounds: @Brilliantsmile94 I had never met you before. Something happened yesterday that left me feeling sad. Right after that, I got the most amazing message from you telling me that you liked my profile quote, just out of nowhere. You really went out of your way to be kind to an absolute stranger. You have no idea how much I needed it right then. One thing that I say to myself is to always be extra kind to others because you really never know what they are going through at that moment. You proved to me, that yes, it works!
@SparkyGizmo
I am honored to have gotten the opportunity to support you. Thank you!
