Hi everyone! You can call me Luna.
I recently joined because of a friend. He recommended this site to me because I enjoyed listening to and helping others. It's always been a passion of mine. I hope that I will become a more understanding person and better my communications skills :)
@Lunamoon2004
hello and welcome!! I think based on your passion for understanding and listening to others that you are doing to be great!
Hey I'm zach and new here and to forums in general aswell. kinda not in the best spot in my life and decided to reach out and see what's up in terms of connecting with people over the web
@Zhead
Hi Zach, it's nice that you joined 7cups. Welcome! and I hope that you feel better with time as well.
Hey guys, call me Logan. Obviously new here. Like a lot of you, here to escape reality but also looking for answers that I can't seem to find on my own. Maybe in some way I can provide my own insight on some things if you're curious as to my opinion but mostly here for my own mental health. "While it is always best to believe in oneself, a little help from others can be a great blessing."
In a nutshell I'm here because its been six years give or take since I felt, well alive. Since then it feels more like survival. It's hard to explain but I've been stuck in this rut for so long it feels all too familiar, it's the norm I dwell in. Most everyday I do not possess the energy or motivation to do even the simplest of tasks. Even activities I use to find enjoyable feel like a chore.
I don't enjoy being around people anymore. Feels like everything I say and do goes under the radar. Like I'm not interesting. I'm overshadowed by louder, obnoxious people. The ones that grab everyones attention but it's not like they're even necessary. Its difficult enough to captivate another persons attention. So day by day, even among other people I'm alone. I don't have anyone to talk to, I don't have anyone to tell funny jokes to and enjoy music together. 6 years and counting and I'm no better for it
@LoganWintry
Welcome to 7cups. It seems you are feeling lonely for a long time now. I wish you feel better. There are many resources here in the forums, you can read them in your free time. I loved the quote which your wrote above and it is very true. I wish with time you start to feel alive and also feel the connection you used to feel ago. You deserve to be happy again.
I thought I already had an account here, but I guess not. Anyway, I'm Micah. I use he/they pronouns and identify as genderflux male (aka boyflux). I came out as trans male in 2014 and ignored my actual gender identity for years due to internalised transphobia. I'm also asexual and demi-biromantic (out since 2014 as well). I'm still struggling to accept my asexuality; however, my internalised aphobia has gotten better recently. Another core part of my identity is that fact that I'm biracial. I've struggled a lot because of this and have faced more discrimination for being a POC than for being in the LGBTQ+ community. It was hard to have a sense of identity because neither of my parents acknowledged my actual ethnicities growing up (they were both ashamed of being Asian and tried to convince me I was just Caucasian despite my features clearly showing otherwise). On the other hand, the children I grew up with refused to see me as anything other than Asian. But I'm not just Asian. I'm not just White. I'm biracial. And the biracial experience is completely different.
I don't want this to get too long, so I'm going to rush through everything else. I'm autistic and have many comorbidities. Some of which include ADHD-PI (primarily inattentive), SPD (hypersensitive), RSD, PDD, MDD, OSFED, GI disorder, insomnia, and alexithymia. Some I struggle with more than others, but regardless, I'm proud to be autistic.
@Zhaori Welcome

It may not happen overnight, but Rome wasn't built in a day and I hope that with the community's support on here, I can hopefully be able to reach certain points that'll help me in my journey.

Hello Everyone!
I am ourjourneytogether and I decided to join 7 Cups so that I can support and listen to others and what they may be going through. I have been through alot of challenges in my own life and often times felt alone and that I didn't have anyone to listen to what I was going through. I am hoping that by connecting with members they can feel they are heard and listened to :) I think it is so important to establish a safe space when chatting with members so that they feel comfortable !
