how long have you been self harm free? (possible trigger warning: SH)
I've seen this sort of thing on a couple of other sites.
It's to put your accomplishments, relapses or anything you want it to be
you could post every day if you need to or once a month, no accomplishments too small.
and if you relapse, you are strong. and you can do this.
I will try get back to as many people as I can and if you need message me on here.
if this doesn't work oh well, but id like to see it work.
Hope you are liking all the cute cat pictures! [v] here is your next clue, where can you introduce yourself if you're new to the subcommunity this month?
Im brand new to 7cups and this is my first reply so hi everyone! Im just over 3 months clean from the worst relapse Ive ever been through but Ive struggled with self harm for about 6 years now. The longest Ive ever been clean was a little over a year and while Ive been struggling with other forms of self harm, Im proud to say I havent cut in 2019!
Almost a month now
Im new to 7 cups, been feeling really low and isolated recently if Im being honest. Ive been struggling with self harm since I was 10, however Ive managed to stay clean for almost a year now, which is the longest Ive ever gone. But for the past few weeks the urges to hurt myself have been growing and are stronger. It feels like Im slipping back into previous habits and the more I try to control it, the more I feel the need to harm.
Im not sure how this app works but if anyone could please give me advice or something, I just dont know what to do anymore.

Hey everyone, I've been clean going on 2 years now, but it's been a real struggle. I always feel the urge pressing against the back of my mind and it's getting stronger.
about two years
Currently a week and a day, without real urge to do so as well
For me personally, it's been 5 years, and I still have moments of difficulty
the last time i did it was yesterday, but today i was able to deflect the urge and i am quite damn proud of myself B) recovery time
@scenegrl the only way u can stop is to throw away razor, blade etc. U still feel the urges
@scenegrl
Eight months last week. I almost slipped up last night but I'm committed to staying clean and strong.
I was 10 months clean... did it again yesterday...
Under a year.
