I have to say I was a little surprised and distressed to learn that speaking languages other than English is prohibited, that seems against the inclusivity that 7cups strives for.

Hey , good concern , Inclusivity , that's exactly the reason why other languages than english are not allowed in chatrooms, as there are different people from around the globe speaking different languages, we want rooms to be a welcoming and inclusive place for everyone and for all to understand what's the conversation about and participate in it .

An example , imagine people talking in the french language and then someone who doesn't know enters the room , that would make them feel less or not included and they will be discouraged to participate in chats.

So to keep a uniform language for all , we keep only english in rooms ! One is ofcourse allowed to talk in their native/ any languages in personal message with another listener or member who speaks it too !

Hoping this clears out a little 😊❤
