Hello! I'm a trained active listener with a BA in psychology and a special interest in supporting people struggling with anxiety; depression; the psychological impact of living with pain, disability or illness, and/or poverty; feelings of isolation, marginalization or other-ness; and issues relating to sexual identity. These are all issues that have been a part of my own life in one way or another and I have also supported family and friends with these issues in their lives. My most fundamental values in life are kindness and empathy. I believe in the power of all our stories and in our universal need to be heard. If you don't feel able to talk about some things to the people in your life or simply want a different perspective or just a compassionate ear at this particular moment in time -- I'm here for you! I try -- although my other commitments and responsibilities can sometimes interfere -- to be online from 11am-12pm (GM-7) every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
