Hey, I'm "Lady". I just recently broke up with my boyfriend of almost 3 years, and it's almost completely my fault. I never cheated on him or anything like that, but lied and wasn't honest about some things that's happened in the past year, like how I lost my two jobs. I feel so ashamed of myself it's almost unbearable. He told me we had to take a break because he can't trust me right now, but I don't know if he'll ever take me back or trust me again.

This hurts so so bad, I can't even describe it. He was my first real relationship, and I actually loved him so much, but was too scared to let him all the way in to really truly know me, and so I lost him. I hope not for forever.

Hello,

I just joined yesterday because I have been very unhappy lately. The main reason is my relationship. My husband has been my best friend for more than 12 years and we have been married for two. We were separate for most of that time however because he moved for a job opportunity and i had to stay behind until I couldbsell the house and finish my job. When i moved in with him again I found him completely aggressive, always putting me down and snapping at me about anything ( like i stepped on the escalator too slow or i checked a phone message on the train etc). It has become unbearable at this point. There of course is a lot mmore too it on both sides ..I dont want to give up but at the same time i feel like I cant even be human without getting yelled at.

HeySo I have a situation its long but Ill try n for what I can here. About me first raised in Texas but born in Egypt Im a Muslim. My boyfriend is Iranian but a non Muslim he is a Bahai. We have been together for 1 1/2 now and I can honestly say i found the love of my life, my soulmate and other half. Anyone who knows about Islam knows the religious rule that a women cant marry a non Muslim man but a man can marry who he wishes. We have been on this ditch for literally more than 1/2 our relationship and are no where near a good decision.My family knows about him and my moms met him and she likes him and believes he is an amazing man but her biggest problem is that he has to convert in order for them to accept him. In the beginning he was willing to do it if it meant being with me but once his mother found out she basically told him if you convert Ill disown you. So we decided to pause on that for now cause we were getting sidetracked with our relationship So we bought a house last week his family was helping n congratulating us and what iwanted was to have my family also be there so I told my mom bout the house but instead of her reaction being happy and proud we went into a deep long talk which ended with me having to choose.1. Choose him but be disowned by my family. 2. He converts but ends up loosing his family who have accepted me from the beginning despite religion. 3. We part ways and always wonder what if and loose each oth

So I need a new perspective any advic

I have been the toxic one in my relationship. My girlfriend has been here for me for a year while I try to fix my problems. Ive improved, but not enough. This is my last chance to improve myself or else were done. And I love her more than anything and I want to change so bad. Im really going to try. Any tips on how to deal with extreme jealousy and being controlling?

@ASilentObserver

Hi, I'm here because I have a myriad of health issues (physical and mental) thankfully the mental ones are under control thanks to my medicine. Unfortunately, the physical - not so much. I do find being a listener cathartic and therapeutic, especially when I feel like I helped someone.
