For me, having confidence is having self belief in yourself. Believe yourself, believe in your capabilities, believe in your hidden talents and gifts. Secondly, don't compromise with yourself for others. You need to be happy as well. Sometimes it's hard to say NO to people. But try to put yourself first, think about your feelings and insecurities and be confident to say no to people when you don't want to do something. And just truly believe in you, you can do anything because you are beautiful✨❤
⭐️ What does it mean to have confidence?
to me, having confidence means to put your fears aside and be yourself. It doesn't mean you'll never feel afraid or anxious, but it means that you will embrace how you feel and be okay with who you are.
@CheeryMango Thank you for this icebreaker 😊
"Being Confident in Ourselves" to me is to believe in ourselves and our potential to face anything that comes our way without giving in to our anxieties or insecurities and being comfortable in our own skin. 💛 "Being Unapologetically Me" 💛

@CheeryMango
keeping a handle on anxiety for me is confidence and facing it when I haven't. It means being happy with whom I am when others don't like me. Trying day by day.
Totally! Nice thoughts!
To be confident, first i have to fake myself that i doesnt have. Second i have to get used to my lie.
Understandable, sending you lots of strength, love and courage.
@CheeryMango Being confident enough to let you know that I find it a bad idea to link directly to a google form from a notification. Please don't do that. Google is not an entity I want to share information about my mental health with, and there is no way to see where the link goes in the notifications. Thank you for being respectful of your community's need for safety and privacy.
Very understandable, we respect your preference!
@Starmedia I didn't write this because it's my personal preference,... I wrote this to point to a general principle of respect for one's fellow community members. It's respectful to give people a choice, and it's respectful to make sure that even the privacy of those who don't really know what privacy is is protected in a mental health environment.
@cloudySummer
We hear you, your thoughts and emotions are valid. ❤️ Since maybe I missed the notification, I am unaware which form it is but if it's about safety then maybe you can consider reaching out to the original thread creator - @ cheerymango directly in PM regarding this concern. They will be able to assist the best with this concern. ❤️I hope it helps!
Confidence to me means having a clearer resolve and not hesitating so much in decisions. It is respecting myself enough to know that I can handle whatever life throws at me. It is not worrying so much about what other people think, and not trying to gather approval from others.
Makes very much sense!
I embrace the possibilties and i am confident.
Firm belief in oneself and appreciating our self-worth! Agreed!
