@Tinywhisper11 I’m worried about him too. This was one of the first thoughts that came to me this morning and why I logged on here to check. Holidays can be wonderful and painful at the same time. I hope maybe he is just spending some time focusing on himself. He spreads so much kindness here.

Knowing soul, I don’t think he would want us to worry too much. It’s hard not to I know, this time of year especially. He has said the holidays are difficult. He may just be needing time.

I haven’t thought about New Year’s resolutions actually. But I think I already knew as soon as you asked. This year it is critical that I finally learn how to really love myself.
That, and exercising more so I can catch a vegan. 😜

@Tinywhisper11 You're learning<3 It takes time to unlearn the hate we've been subjected to by people and/or circumstances. It takes time to know what words are truly our own. I'm still at the first step on my journey to self forgiveness and that's okay, it's still a win cause that step came after so much hate and resentment.
You know pain and you know love and maybe your heart just wants to take it all on yourself so that no one suffers but you get to let go as well, you get to feel the love that radiates from your wonderful self. I hope you get to see what we are seeing in you everyday.

I’m doing ok, thank you for asking. ❤️ I am going through the divorce process after a rough couple of years. There are parts of it that are a relief, anxiety and fear. My nervous system got really stressed out. At the same time my heart is heavy, despite everything I deeply cared for him. Very complicated bond and emotions. I have moments where the emotions are overwhelming, but I’m also distracted with the things I need to get done. I know at some point a flood of my own emotions is coming. I’m trying to take better care of myself so that I can cope as best I can when it comes.
Life sure is complicated sometimes, isn’t it? I’ve been struggling with fears of being alone. I don’t have close family or friends. But my children give me joy. For the moment I feel a sense of trust that everything will be ok. I have no idea what direction my life is going, but maybe that means there’s room for something really great to come in.

@PiecesOfWhoeverIWas I won't say that I can understand what you are going through but I can totally understand all the emotions that rush in following such a huge step. I just let go of something I was working for this year cause I know I deserve better and I'm so glad that somewhere in your heart you know you deserve better as well. The trust that you ignited in yourself is so beautiful and something that I feel proud of :D
I know the fear of being alone is scary but losing our own identity for someone is terrifying as well. The love you gave in this relationship is not lost, it's now turned into chapters in the book of your life. The first time reading through the pages is going to be hard, there will be missing but then there will be lessons learned as well. You're just going to grow from here. Through all this I'm just so glad that your children are with you. I would happily watch the stars fall apart if it meant my mom would find her happiness<3
@BlueDarkAurora Thank you for such a beautiful message. You always have such a way with words. I really like how you said that the love I gave isn’t lost, that made me cry. I like to think of it that way. I don’t want to have regrets. I sort of have a lot of them in my life, but at the same time there’s something inside me that knows I’ve tried my best. I have learned some things, and some things I would have done the same if given another chance. So how can I regret that? I am where I’m supposed to be. Pain doesn’t have to feel like the end. Thank you for caring. ❤️

@Tinywhisper11 I think it was just called Duck Hunt on the original Nintendo back in the 1980s. It came with the original Mario Brothers game. It was pretty good technology I think for the time. If you missed the duck like in this gif, the dog would pop up and laugh at you with this annoying sounding giggle. 😂
